Belem! Charming 2 Bedroom Apartment w terrace, Wifi & free street parking

This 2 Bedroom Apartment in a typical Pombalian era architecture and has been recently renovated. This was our first family home. As our family grew we moved into a bigger place but still fell this like our original home, so we take great care and are very attached to this property. We now want you to enjoy life in this lovely neighborhood as we did, with everything you need around.

Amazing location, comfortable, sunny, and the river view makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy your holidays.

The apartment will comfortably sleep 4 and can accommodate up to 6 people. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a multi function bed for 1 or 2 people.
The living room has a balcony with river view, dinning table, free WiFi, LED TV 32" and a large and comfortable sofa bed for additional guests.
The bathroom has modern walk-in shower.
The apartment benefits from blackout blinds in all windows for total darkness for a comfortable night sleep.
The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine and dish washer.

We will be waiting for you at the apartment to hand over the keys and to introduce you to the apartment and answer your questions.

For more than 4 guests, we may charge a supplement per night.
We may charge extras fee for early or late check-in.

Parking in this neighborhood is free 24/7 unlike many other in Lisbon, which is very convenient if you bring your own car or if you rent one.

Outside the hustle and bustle

Great location if you want to be outside downtown Lisbon. Close to everything you need and Uber will pick you up right out front for the those longer trips.

Good location but a bad smell

Both my wife and I had a good time at this location. The one thing that could have been improved, is the sewage smell that was apparent when we first checked in. Fortunately, they had a number of fans that we were able to move the smell out. This location is great for people looking to be outside of the busy downtown but able to get to it quickly. The plus about the location is that the restaurants near by have a true local feeling.

Die Zimmer waren gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet und die Betten bequem. Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber die KĂŒche war es leider nicht. Wir mussten das Geschirr erstmal vom Dreck der VorgĂ€nger befreien. Außerdem waren im Schrank unter der SpĂŒle zwei tote Kakerlaken. Im Bad hat leider der Abzug nicht funktioniert, so dass es dort immer feucht war und in der Dusche teilweise Schimmelstellen waren. Die Straße war ziemlich laut, so dass man nur mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen konnte.Die Terrasse teilt man sich mit einem Ă€lteren Ehepaar, welche durch einen Vorhang geteilt ist. Die Umgebung war toll. Man war schnell im Zentrum. Der BĂ€cker ggĂŒ. war auch super.

Excellent place for leisure or work

We really enjoyed the place. It is comfortable for longer stays and digital nomad work. Two decent sized bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and nice corner living room. Everything working and in almost new condition. The host (Joao) was very approachable and communicative, he answered most of our questions like housing market, living in Lisbon etc. The place has a nice view of river Tagus, and in spring, a beautiful view of Jacaranda trees. Coffee shops and restaurants are near by, and we recommend Di Amici, Italian restaurant, one block down the street. Museums, Pasteis de Belem, Jeronimos Monastery are just 10min walk from here. We really like Belem, and would definitely rent this place again.

TrÚs bon accueil, trÚs bel appartement, bien situé, dans un quartier calme de Lisbonne, riche culturellement... Il faut absolument essayer les cantines (grillades...) et les pùtisseries proches de l'appartement (juste en face), peu chÚres et vraiment excellentes, dans une ambiance familiale.

As mention by the previous reviewers, the apartment is comfortable with amenities of restaurants, grocery stores and a number of other little shops in very close proximity. In addition to the other places people mentioned, the local gardens were also quiet and relaxing. The only item I would mention is that the other apartments in the building are being renovated, so it gets a bit loud come 8 am during the week but settles back at 5pm. The weekends are silent. Also the guest manager Patricia was very pleasant and helpful, by providing information on the local area, restaurant recommendations and assisting to arrange transportation to the airport. If I were to visit BelĂ©m or Lisbon again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

The apartment is very clean, modern and bright (although, as another reviewer noted, the kitchen overlooks an internal courtyard, and is therefore a bit dark, but as it isn't set up for eating, this isn't much of a problem). The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. It's in a great situation, about a mile-and-a-half from the Belem Tower, with bus and tram routes running nearby, and Belem train station a few minutes walk away. The older part of the coach museum is at the bottom of the hill, and Monasterio Jeronimos and Pasteis de Belem (definitely worth a try !) are around ten minutes walk. There are plenty of options for eating out, ranging from touristy to local; the latter, especially, provide great value. There has been some intermittent work on the roof - probably best to check with the owner before booking, to see whether this is likely to affect your stay.

It's a very nice neighborhood. Safe to walk at anytime of day or night. The locals are very helpful with information if you speak Portuguese. Easy to find parking if you rent a car. Easy to get to various museums in the area, and to the Tejo river, and transportation. The only down side was that the building is shrouded in scaffolding veil and we were not able to enjoy the river view. It's very quiet to get a great night sleep. There are stores near by for groceries and also nice little bakeries.

Tolle Ferienwohnung im schönen Belem

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Die Wohnung hat alles was man in den Ferien benötigt. Die KĂŒche ist toll ausgestattet, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Leider ist die KĂŒche sehr dunkel. Das Badezimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit einer sehr großen Dusche. Leider gab es da einige feuchte Ecken mit Schimmel, diese sollten mal beseitigt werden. Die beiden Schlafzimmer haben sehr bequeme Betten. Die Wohnung liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, aber die Fenster haben jeden störenden LĂ€rm draußen gelassen. In der NĂ€he befinden sich sehr gute preiswerte Restaurants die hauptsĂ€chlich von Portugiesen besucht werden. Morgens schnell die Treppe herunter und schon ist man beim BĂ€cker. In der NĂ€he befinden sich außerdem noch ein kleiner Supermarkt, Apotheken und ein LottogeschĂ€ft in dem man die Busfahrkarten zum Aufladen kaufen kann. Es befinden sich mehrere Bushaltestellen in direkter NĂ€he. Nur den Berg hinunter undman ist direkt bei den SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten von Belem. Wir wĂŒrden diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder mieten. Danke fĂŒr den schönen Aufenthalt.

Nice apartment great location

We had a great stay in this apartment, nicely located in a authentic neighbourhood, yet so close to the tourist attractions in the Belem area. The apartment is fully equiped with all we need to cook and it has restaurants, shops, supermarkets around and good transport to Lisbon downtown too. We found the n15 tram a very pleasant way to go to city centre. You can walk 10 min to the famous pasteis de belem! What else can you ask for?
