My travel partners declared this the best Santa Cruz area rental we’ve stayed in due to the location. We loved the downstairs deck and outdoor kitchen and easy walk to the beach. I’d point out that the living area is upstairs, while the nicer group outdoor area is downstairs. Note to future renters: The entrance is off one street, even though the address is on a street on the corner. Arriving in the dark, it took us a bit to figure that out.

Property was clean and kept up very well. Beds are comfortable. Tge hot tub was the highlight as you can sit out in the evening and watch the sun go down while staring at the ocean steps away. Very close to restaurants and fun activities. Highly recommend this house.

The property is beautiful just like the pictures! Also all the amenities were nice and well appointed (not cheap). We loved the outdoor space and hot tub. We appreciated the beach chairs and sand toys! Overall, we’d love to stay here again and we were sad when we had to leave!

We enjoyed the cleanliness and access to great kitchen facilities and supplies. The hot tub was so relaxing and private. Smart TV makes the entertainment factor seamless. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and towels were fresh and new. We had a few reasons to contact the agent and they were very responsive. Entry into the property was easily managed, too. Even tho we were 2 houses from the beach, access there is a little challenging so a short walk down the street gives easy access. We would love to stay here again.

We spent our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Pacific Paradise and it was an outstanding stay! The space was clean, inviting, and nearly perfect. Communication was superb, the hot tub was awesome, and the views were sublime. We spent mornings on the deck drinking coffee and beer on the deck in the evenings. Walks on the beach were just right. The TV took a bit to decipher, but was excellent as well. My only, and I say only suggestion is this... Please provide two box fans for the upper level to create a draft between the two sliders. I understand there are only 10% of homes in the Santa Cruz area that have air conditioning and they probably rarely need it, but our first day/night was on the warm side. Maybe it's us being from the East Coast and me being a hot Italian, but it was a bit uncomfortable until the temps dropped at night. Other than that, it was absolutely fabulous and our stay was extremely nice and made a memorable anniversary. Thank you!!!

Terrific ocean views

Outstanding patio and balcony enjoyment with a nice floor plan and very clean. Lucky enough to see dolphins and humback wales from the property. Everything needed for short or longer stay.

This was a great spot! Nestled between East Cliff & Pleasure Point this cozy cottage had great views of the beach. Grab your chairs and relax at the beach at the end of the street. 2 parking spots, private outdoor space and a wonderful hot tub to watch the sunset. We enjoyed taking the Roaring Camp train down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk later returning to bbq in the outdoor kitchen. Great stay!

We had such a great family vacation! Made memories that we'll remember forever. Very clean and bright house, with nearly every item and utensil you could think of. Proximity to the beach is unparalleled. The rocks at the end of the street is not SUPER easy for kids to get to the beach, but totally do-able and worth it! The beach was extremely private. It is typically an awesome beach, but there was a wave advisory the week we were there, but we didn't want to swim anyway. We got to witness a real water rescue. A lot of otters to watch in the water. Hot tub was amazing. Doesn't get much better than soaking in the hot tub while watching the ocean! Everything else was just great, too. Only a few minute drive to the boardwalk, a few minute walk to Starbucks, and less than an hour to Monterey. We will definitely be booking here again!!

Beachside Dream House

We had an amazing long weekend at this property! The private driveway with two parking spots made coming and going from the house stress free and convenient. The location of the house is phenomenal. It is three houses down from a gorgeous beach, and you have the option to climb down a few rocks to access the beach or walk one street over and utilize the stairs. My wife, 6 year old daughter, and I found both options to be easy, even when carrying chairs and beach toys. The house itself was perfect. Two comfortable bedrooms downstairs with en suite restrooms and showers, and a gorgeous kitchen and living room upstairs. The upstairs deck has beautiful ocean views on two sides of the house, and depending on the time of day you can pick sun or shadow, depending on what side you relax on. The downstairs deck had an incredible outdoor barbecue and sink, and a hot tub with views of the ocean. There was also an outdoor shower with warm water, which made using the hot tub even easier. We loved it, and definitely hope to come back.

Wonderful house in the perfect location. Steps to the beach with great views. Very clean and well laid out plus thoughtful accessories. Host communicated well although we wished we’d known about the 730am band across the street for the Wharf to Wharf run! All in all a fine place to stay and super easy to book, get questions answered and how to check out. Minor suggestion is to lower the bathroom mirror for under 5’ 3” guests like my wife! Highly recommended.
