This is a top floor luxury unit in a multi unit overlooking Atlantic Ave with massive windows and skylights in every direction. The floor plan is open concept with lots of living space. The location of the home offers extremely convenient beach access. Ocean breezes traverse the interior of the unit. In addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom, there are two comfortable couches that are also pull out beds. The dining area also overlooks Atlantic ave from above with partial ocean and beach views. If you want to have birds eye views of the Wells Beach Atlantic Ave scene, this is the place for you. There is also a loft sleeping area in the unit for teens or adults only. Access is via a ladder. Outside the unit, guests have access to a large open yard (35x35) with two grills. The opportunity exists for large families to vacation in the additional units in this home. If your family is too large for a small rental, this home offers additional spacious rentals (4 additional units) below the luxury unit. (HomeAway #4264707).

Super appreciate the 5 star rating! Yes,we are that close "2 minute walk" to the beach. The "Public Way" that takes you right to the beach is two houses down from our place and right along Atlantic Ave. Convenient beach access.

Wonderful natural light and ventilation. Handy outdoor grilling facility. Very short walk to the beach. Very responsive owner. Slight negatives included the lack of a baking sheet, a meager selection of drinkware, strong weathering of the entry stairs, and a carpet stain.

Super appreciate the compliments on being super close to the beach "Very short walk to the beach." Also appreciate the positive comments on all the natural light and ventilation at our place. As with all our guests we checked in frequently. Our guest gave us kudos here as well "Very responsive owner." Had it been mentioned at any time that a bake sheet and drinkware were missing, we would have had our property manager deliver. Same thing goes for the carpet stain. Had it been mentioned in the multiple conversations we had about the stay, we would have addressed. Entry stairs are in line for paint at the end of the season, but not sure how that had any effect on this stay? Appreciate the positive comments.

We had a wonderful stay at Dave’s place and were lucky to find it somewhat last minute. Steps from the beach made it easy to enjoy the morning sunrises. Parking was convenient and check in was easy. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was spacious, loved all the windows!

Why they chose this property

If you like to see it all (Atlantic Ave, Ocean, Beach and Marsh) from above, this is the unit for you. Lots to see from this top floor vantage point

What makes this property unique

Unique architecture and a loft set up for the teens. My family and I have vacationed in Wells beach for countless summers. We rented over a dozen different properties. All the properties we rented required us to pack all our beach gear in the car, fight the traffic and cross our fingers we would find a parking spot. If we could find a spot, it was often the typical $15/day. Then we would load all our 'beach gear' on our shoulders and make the walk to the beach. At times it was frustrating. Bathroom breaks were always an adventure. When we decided to purchase a home in Wells, we wanted to be right by the ocean. 66 Atlantic Ave was perfect. It has direct access to Public Way #2 (No walking up or down Atlantic Ave to reach the nearest Public Way: Two doors down from Public Way #2). Bathroom calls were no longer a problem and anything we forgot to bring with us was just across the street. 66 Atlantic is also extremely close to Wells Beach 'Center.' If you want a newspaper or a snack, the convenience store is right there. If the kids want to go to the arcade, get an ice cream or visit the candy store, they are right there. On top of all this, the property has partial ocean and marsh views
