Located on the second floor of a historical Carriage House, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has plenty of space for a family or group. The property has a view of the Old Jail in historic Jim Thorpe. A covered balcony and a separate covered patio both have direct views of the Old Jail and surrounding mountains. Inside, the first level features a large master bedroom with queen size bed, a gorgeous bathroom with walk-in shower and a large living room with couches and a flat screen/HD TV. Upstairs you will find, two bedrooms each with a full size bed, updated bathroom with a tub./shower. One floor up, you'll find a a second living area with a futon and game room.

Pets are allowed, but please be sure to indicate that your pet is joining you and pay the pet fee. Cleaning costs for people are rolled into the price, but the $25 pet fee covers additional vacuuming of hair and dander.

Such a beautiful apartment with all the comforts of home, including books and games. There were even beautiful holiday decorations for this time of year, which made the apartment feel even more cozy! The owner, Jeff, and manager, Chad, are such kind and responsive people. On-site parking was very helpful to have, and many amenities, sites, and shopping were within walking distance. Finally, Jim Thorpe businesses are very dog-friendly, so being able to have our dogs with us was a great way to have all of our "family" together.

This apartment is in an excellent location for exploring the village of Jim Thorpe. It’s within easy walking distance of shops, sites, and restaurants. The apartment had plenty of space for our family and was very clean. We would stay there again if ever back in Jim Thorpe.

The house was larger than we expected, had several outdoor spaces, and was decorated so beautifully! It was fully equipped with all amenities, and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Location was perfect in the town of Jim Thorpe. I would definitely recommend and will hope to be back!

Perfect location off the main drag. House is eclectic but that is to be expected with very old homes. Excellent parking. Chad/ management gave spot-on reccomendations. Although weather didnt make it possible for an outside fire on one of the 3 outside deck areas, we took advantage of the other 2 covered decks. Greatly appreciated the coffee that was available as well as the spices. Halloween decorations were very festive. Worked out great for 3 older couples.

The house is always decorated so festive for the holidays with fhe holiday tree and decorations. Our favorite was how the path by the house was lit up with Christmas lights and was so magical our first night with it snowing!

This was a great place for a quick trip to Jim Thorpe. The location was excellent, convenient to restaurants, stores, the train, and other sites. The apartment itself was lovely. I was with my teenaged son and my mother and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax, and the whole place was clean and comfortale. The porches are beautiful and a great place to have coffee and start the day. Very easy check-in and check-out and a very communicative host. I would definitely stay here again if we return!

Wonderful and cozy apartment close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay here, it’s a beautiful place that’s full of surprises. We loved the vintage owl decor and antique lighting, the apartment was cozy and comfortable. We also loved the series of decks and patios and the area with the chiminea up on the hillside. What a magical place! The cleaning and maintenance staff ware also so great we had to give them a little shoutout here. This place is a gem, we will be back!

Mother in laws 80th get awag

Took the family and my in laws for a 3 night stay in Jim Thorpe for her Birthday. This house is perfect for a larger group. 3 floors of living space with 3 different decks/porches. Extremely clean and Chad lives in the immediate area and was EXTREMELY responsive and very welckming. I would highly recommend this rental. Ask Chad about the secret trails they maintain on the side of the mountain.

Home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay, visiting family. It was a short walking distance to downtown Jim Thorpe. It was fun browsing all the unique stores. Chad was very helpful. We came with our furbabies so had several conversations with him, while out for our walks. He treated us like family. We may try one of the downstairs apartments next time. We got our exercise in going up and down those stairs in apt C. Loved the lay out of the home. The patio and balconies were nice. The only con was the limited areas for the pups to do their business. We walked up and down High street so they think they own it now. LOL

I am drawn to Jim Thorpe and to the Pocono's in general and am very glad to live in this amazing town surrounded by the ever changing Appalachian landscape. You cannot beat the endless miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, or the tubing, kayaking, skirmish, yoga, skiing, rivers, lakes, and fishing or the cultural and historical attractions. So close to the major east coast cities, yet worlds away!

Why they chose this property

Plenty of room for your family or friends! Located across the street from the Olde Jail Museum and only a 3 to 9 minute walk to the restaurants, bars and other attractions.

High Street Guesthouse features this spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with over 1600 square feet of space!! Plenty of room for relaxing, unwinding and QUIET TIME.

Comes with reserved off-street parking for two or three vehicles, this is almost unheard of in Jim Thorpe.

Enjoy the private covered deck with an outdoor eating area and BBQ, or watch the world go by from the covered balcony.
