About this property

Convenient Location plus Golf Course Views!

This Hilton Head lovely two bedroom, two bath plus bonus twin room villa has fantastic views of the George Fazio golf course!

The kitchen is fully equipped featuring new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The pass-through window overlooks the dining room with seating for 6 and the view of the George Fazio golf course.
The spacious living room has plenty of seating, and HDTV and access to the private deck.

The main bedroom located on the first floor includes a king size bed, HDTV, and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has been fully renovated in 2023 featuring a beautiful large tiled walk-in shower (handicap accessible)and an new vanity.

On the second floor, you will find the second bedroom and bonus room. This bedroom has two Queen size beds, HDTV, and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has been fully renovated in 2023 featuring an elegant double sink vanity and tiled tub and shower combination.

The bonus room right off the bedroom includes a twin size bed and HDTV.

From your private patio, you are about 20 paces to the nearest golf green. There is outside seating and a grill for cooking. No villa is closer to the course! Eat outside while watching the golfers go by.

Inverness Village is located near the George Fazio golf course in Palmetto Dunes. The villa is just a few minutes bike ride from the beach.

The community amenities include an on-site community pool and children's pool and private tennis courts. The distance to the beach is a little less than a mile - that's a nice bike ride or you can use the (seasonal) Dunes Buggy Shuttle, a free on-demand shuttle service. You are close to everything that Palmetto Dunes has to offer: golfing, tennis, pickleball, beach, lagoon, shopping , restaurants and miles of bike paths.

Golf and Beach at Palmetto Dunes

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was perfectly located for our trip. We came to play golf and enjoy the beach. The unit was just off the 12th green of the Fazio course. The golf course was in good shape and played well. It was also a short distance to our second round at the Robert Trent Jones course. That course was also well maintained. We were a short bike ride to the beach and the Dune House. The actual unit was not as nice. Our unit at Inverness Villas wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived and there was a slight leak in the faucet of the downstairs bathroom. However, the resort was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great but the condo itself was disappointing. The upstairs temperature runs at least 15-20 degrees warmer than downstairs, it was miserable trying to sleep. There are no ceiling fans so no way for air movement. Downstairs, we would have to cover up with blankets because it would stay so chilly.Lighting is terrible, one lamp in the dining room and one lamp in the bedrooms; no overhead lighting. Ice maker did not work. Found roaches in the upstairs bathroom and also in the kitchen.The resort property has great pickleball courts and it is close to the beach.

A pleasant & relaxing stay at Inverness Village

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has vacationed in Palmetto Dunes (Villa Mare) on several occasions, and we decided to spend a week at Inverness Village. Overall, the experience was very good, with great communication end to end. The added privacy was welcome, and the longer distance to the beach and amenities was not an issue. The Villa itself was not as clean as we would have expected with very dirty air vent returns, and cobwebs & dust on corners & moldings. The furnishings and overall condition of the Villa were fine, but some maintenance items need attention (peeling popcorn ceiling). Overall though, a very relaxing stay.

The villa needs serious updating . The shower fills up the tub while showering . Cracks in the ceiling. No rugs or anything below your feet for comfort .

We emailed management about a chipped coffee pot that should be replaced since my husband cut his finger while washing it. We don't want it happening to another guest. Overall it was a cozy place and we will come back.
