Old Town Nederland was built in the late 1800's during the Gold Rush. A walk in the neighborhood is a stroll back in time. Old miner's cabins tucked under the pine and aspen trees line the streets. Moose, elk, bear and deer roam the backyards. The Wolf Tongue Mill sits silent while Middle Boulder Creek snakes east from the Continental Divide through town and on to Boulder. Chipeta Park is a perfect spot for relaxing along the river, throwing the disk, or taking a stroll.
This mountain town sits at 8240 ft. elevation.
A bit about me... I love hosting guests from all around the world! Born and raised on a family farm in Iowa, my adventures led me first to Texas and then on to the mountains. My family loves Colorado. Summers are filled with water sports, biking and gardening and in winter we ski and travel. I enjoy anthropology and study mushrooms and medicinal plants. In my free time I play guitar, dance, and practice yoga. I enjoy sharing our unique mountain culture with visitors from around the world.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Wendy. The cabin is conveniently located in the heart of Nederland. It also has a very cool story about the fella that built it. It has a long history that we really enjoyed reading about. Would definitely stay here again when we return to "Ned".
This house is adorable and walking distance to shopping, restaurants, creek/reservoir trails. It is also very close to some other great hiking options. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Nederland!
Very relaxing getaway to the mountains. The cabin was in the perfect spot to explore Nederland, I loved the local music at Knotted Root, hiking at Aspen Alley, and revisiting the Carousel of Happines. So cozy and comfortable to come back to this centrally located, beautiful historic home.
Property was as advertised: clean, well appointed kitchen, great location, with good communication with host. Lots of great hiking nearby! And good local places to eat. Plan to visit again.
We had a wonderful time in Nederland. The house featured a well-stocked kitchen and a cozy fireplace. A local highlight was the Indian/Nepalese restaurant; the authentic dishes and chai tea are a must-try.
Communication with Wendy was seamless; she even went out of her way to meet us in downtown Boulder to return a shirt we’d left behind at the cabin.
The cabin was clean and a great place to stay for me cause it was convenient for me to get to the places I needed to go. The cabin had everything we needed . The host Wendy was friendly and very helpful. She responded to questions and needs quickly .

Very nice, quaint house in a quiet area. It was very roomy for four adults.
We didn't cook but everything you might need to do so was available. We had coffee on the back patio every morning which we greatly enjoyed.
We highly recommend this property
It’s not easy finding affordable accommodations near Boulder on graduation weekend and this place was a beautiful 30 min drive up the canyon. This pet friendly 2 bedroom home had comfy beds, a hot shower, cushy sofa with large TV and WiFi and a functional kitchen.Communication with host was easy. Great pizza nearby. A little yard clean up and a few more professional updates may be in order.
We had a very nice stay in Nederland at this property. It was wonderful being able to walk to restaurants and still a close drive to hiking - also really great that we could bring our dog!
