Caribou Sunrise is your haven in the Northwoods! Located on Caribou Lake just 5 miles inland from Lake Superior. Find morning peace on the dock, hike the adjacent Superior Hiking Trail, build a campfire, listen to the loons. Or, take your adventure to the Gitchi Gami bike trail along Lake Superior, play golf at Lutsen Mountain or take a class at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais. So much to enjoy! This Nordic-style cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 baths and laundry room.

Main floor offers master bedroom with King bed, living/dining, kitchen and bath with washer/dryer and shower (heated floors!)

Newly installed spiral staircase to second floor leads to a queen size bed and half bath plus a separate bedroom with queen size bed.

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view! Would recommend this property to anyone! We have been coming up to Minnesota for over 20 years and this was one of my favorite locations so far. Host was wonderful with communication and hospitality! 10 stars!

This cabin was so peaceful and quiet. They thought of everything, soap, shampoo, body wash, laundry, spices in the kitchen, fire pit, towels. The table is beautiful and great for a puzzle or Mahjong! We opened the windows and it cooled down wonderfully and we were comfortable all weekend. Our only wish was to have 2 kayaks for use but we brought tubes to float in and that was just as relaxing. It was very modern and clean. We would go again for girls cabin weekend.

Lovely property. Three senior sisters enjoyed the North Shore The spiral staircase was very manageable for age 70. Good lighting. Good road to highway 61 and activities. Spotty internet in the area but adequate WiFi. Loved the art throughout. Full moon rising over the lake was lovely.

Our property is aptly named Caribou Sunrise! Greet the morning son on the porch with a cup of coffee in hand an d after breakfast walk out the back door and connect with the superior hiking trail with miles and miles of spectacular Views!

What makes this property unique

Our property sits right on Caribou Lake where just out the back door you can hike the Superior Hiking Trail; 5 miles down the hill you have access to the Gitchee Gami bike trail upon which you can bike to Temperance River; golfing and skiing are less then 15 minutes door to green/chaiift; access the many waterfalls, take a class in Grand Marais, drive to the Canadian border to see the tallest waterfalls in Minnesota… Beauty abounds right here at Caribou Sunrise!
