It was such a lovely getaway spot. The cabin was beautiful, the environment was lovely, and just overall a perfect place to balance being cozy and getting active in nature.
We had a very nice stay here, kitchen and bathroom had all necessary amenities provided. Cozy cabin, a little chilly at night but blankets were provided as well so it was OK.
As advertised very simple cabin on a secluded property just outside the state park. Rental was clean, bed comfortable and stocked with the kitchen basics. Perfect for a short stay in the area
It was a fabulous stay, and Brittany, the host, was very helpful with bringing a gas grill, AC, and communication. The scenery is very beautiful and it's very quiet. Great place for a hiking getaway.
Loved the whole process and the owner was fantastic for anything we needed. My daughters had such a good time waking up to "check" on the mountains out the windows. I also appreciated the location, the history, and the amazing views in the morning.
If you love the mountains and some peace and quiet, you'll love this cozy cabin! It has a great view and is so close to Cunningham Falls State Park. The cabin itself is clean and nicely sized for a weekend getaway. I'd recommend this place over and over again and the host, Brittany, is great with communication and keeping it tidy! Overall, a great experience!
Cabin was adorable. Even though the weather was very cold the cabin was cozy. Everything we needed was provided. Our host was the most accommodating we have ever had! Great communication. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Communication was great. Directions were clear. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.
Enjoyed our stay - the gorgeous sunsets and local eggs were definite highlights. Very easy to feel like you’ve gotten away from it all, while quick drives to the Bog Shack (flavored ices), Motherland (Afro-Caribbean with many vegetarian and vegan options, too), and Cunningham Falls State Park, among many nearby options.

Thanks so much for your review and your pictures! It certainly helps others know what to expect. The Bog Shack is one of our favorites! :) We hope to host you again soon!
Our stay worked out very well! We had friends camping at Cunningham Falls State Park. We were close enough yet had our own time. My husband wished the fireplace worked .
Perfect size cabin. Lovely area. No WiFi on our last night but that could've been because of the weather. Nice fire pit, that was my favorite part of the day once we returned from our wanderings. Very peaceful. We would def come back.
PERFECT! We wanted a short getaway in the mountains that was relaxing and quiet and that is just what we got. We enjoyed a nice lunch with not a single sound but the rain falling before heading to explore The cabin is private and cozy, and very clean, the linens smelled wonderful and fresh. Highly reccomend! (Also there is one of the most nap worthy arm chairs we have ever seen)

Thank you so much for your kind words! I LOVED this review so much. We strive to give the best experience possible and I am so glad we could do that for you. The armchair is ready for nappers. Come back to see us soon!
Birch Cabin was comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a trail not far from the door for walking our dog. The rustic setting is exactly what we wanted , and we would be pleased to stay at Birch Cabin again. Communications with Brittney were excellent.
