Host was very accommodating and helpful. Cottage was very clean and well stocked. It was fun to see and feed the chickens. Very quiet at night and fireflies were plentiful. Plenty of space for our party of 6.

We loved our stay! The house and location were perfect. The chickens were so much fun for us overgrown kids. We really appreciated the restaurants and activities that were suggested. We’d also add State of Confusion and The Naughty Cat, a cat cafe for people over eleven. The hike to Glen Falls was lovely as was just relaxing on the porch swing. Joanna responded immediately even though the only thing we needed was more chicken feed. We’ve already recommended the house to a couple friends!

The Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. Very clean, homey, and close to the hiking path! Hosts were amazing at answering any questions we had, and the restaurants they recommended were delicious!

We absolutely adored this house! It was close to lots of things in the area! At the same time it was set back in the mountain and we loved how private it was. We enjoyed the sounds of the rushing creek and frogs at night. My daughter chased fireflies, there were so many! The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We fell in love with the chickens on the property and my daughter joked she was going to sneak one home. The house had anything we could ask for. My only suggestion is a night light for the room with 2 twin beds. It was so dark at night. Again, we can’t say enough good things about this property! When we come back we will definitely stay here again!

The owners were easy to contact and left very helpful details about the home and the local area. The whole house was so clean and well-stocked! The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were immaculate. The property is very peaceful and tucked away on a lovely hillside, but with great access to all attractions and the downtown area. We spent a lot of time on the deck and at the fire pit. We will look to stay here again when in the area. It was awesome!

This is a nicely updated vintage St Elmo cottage. Super clean. Quiet neighborhood convenient to downtown and Lookout Mountain. Cute chickens—but no rooster to wake you up! Owners great! Every need anticipated.

Weekend trip

Great little comfy spots to land after a day of volleyball tournaments downtown. St Elmo every night for dinner! Recommend not driving a big truck due to narrow rd and parking. Good trip!

This stay was great! The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The house was clean and well kept. The shower/tubs were clean as well. I appreciated the fact that the house was equipped with so many kid-friendly games. My son enjoyed annialating me in foosball and invited me to play several other games. The house was well stocked with almost everything that you need when you're home away from home. It didn't hurt that the hosts help women from Africa. The home is stocked with beautiful hand crafted jewelry for purchase and the sales go towards helping them. I would definitely recommend this home for people who have kids of any age; or anyone looking for a quiet restful getaway experience close to many attractions that Chattanooga has to offer. The house is in a steep location, so be careful when backing out.

We loved the neighborhood, very pretty and quiet. We had a great hike to the falls and only got lost a bit. The turn offs on the way back are hard to find. The house was clean except for the clean sheets and towels that was still in the dryer. We appreciated the coffee and tea supplied at the house. The chickens were fun to feed for our kids and were very cute. Unfortunately, the surprised/scared face picture in the basement window did not fit the welcoming atmosphere of the home and scared my 8 year old very much. The only other suggestion I would have would be to have the double bed to the back room that has its own bathroom. It didn’t work well for our family to have the parent's share a jack and jill bathroom with kids. Everything else about the property was great and St. Elmo has some great restaurants for families. With Chattanooga so close, this is an oasis to stay at that is quiet and beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at Glen Falls Treetop Cottage very much. It was comfortable, roomy, & clean. The location was great for fun in Chattanooga & for the waterfall trails we hiked. The home is in a beautiful setting. We loved the chickens that came for daily visits & relaxing on the front porch swing.
