If you’re looking for a clean, well-appointed place within walking distance of the coast, this cottage is it. Nothing fancy, but affordable and perfect for two couples or a family. We’d stay here again!

This is a vintage. 1950 cottage that has been recently remodeled. It is conveniently located close the the beaches and redwood parks. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful mother-daughter trip. The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very very quiet and a quick drive to a beautiful sunset. It was perfect for days of hiking in the redwoods and exploring the beautiful beaches.

Quaint Setting

This is a completely remodeled older property that had all the amenities of home. Very clean and very comfy. Very easy to stay in touch w the host. It appeared to be in an older section of Crescent City but it was a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to the Redwood parks and the ocean. Had a very nice stay.

Quaint little town. The house was immaculate inside, it did need the grass cut but not a big deal. everythign worked and the entire house was well provisioned.Defintely a value for the price.

The house could have been cleaned better. The floor had an obvious slope to it and you walk uphill to the kitchen. I had to take the water heater apart myself with a leatherman to turn the water temp up past lukewarm. Needs a few things like Tupperware for leftover food storage. It was a short walk to the beach.

Pacific Dream was great!

I took my kids (teenagers) on a trip to California to see the redwoods. This property was located perfectly for us to do day trips all over the area. It was perfect for our family. The whole house was clean and neat. There were TV’s in each of the bedrooms and one in the main room so we could all watch our shows and relax. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking as far as dishes go which was super helpful. There is a washer and dryer onsite which was also such a gift! We had a great time and appreciated our stay- thank you! The property manager was easily accessible and left detailed messages for us so we didn’t even have any questions. It was a wonderful experience.

Inside of the house was nice and clean. But One bedroom no closet. Washer and dryer were outside. Outside of the house needs work, weeds and grass were too tall. Was posted/pictured view of the beach from the house but house was several blocks away from the beach and none viewable!Very deceiving!

Perfect location to visit the redwoods

My husband and I came to Crescent City to visit the redwood forest. The location of this property was a perfect distance from Jedidiah Smith state park and parks south of Crescent City. The property was a bit rough on the outside but inside was brand new and spotless. Neighborhood was quiet and safe and close to many restaurants, visitors center and beaches. “Minutes walk from the beach” in the listing was misleading- it is a 25 minute walk to a nearby beach. However it’s worth it to drive and spend time on the beach. Gorgeous! We had a fabulous time in the area - the enormous trees do not disappoint. Would definitely visit Crescent City again.

The property folks were super nice and responded quickly. It is a very cute little house. Great location even though we thought it would have been a bit closer to the beach. We had trouble with the smart lock. Someone came on the speaker and tried to help us out with it but the speaker was too crackly and we couldn’t make out what she was trying to say. They had another option to get in which we were grateful for. The beds were pretty comfy but one dips on one side. Feels maybe like a broken box spring would. Plenty of hot water for all 4 of us adults! We have stayed many places where only one person gets a hot shower so this was very nice. There is only one little mirror in the bathroom. I would suggest putting another one. In the bedrooms maybe. Kitchen was so nicely stocked. Check out was super easy. Overall really nice little place to stay!
