Roam the archeological sites at Mesa Verde, just minutes from our cozy, rustic cabin. Let the sagebrush tickle your fingertips as you take in the sights of the high desert. Stare awestruck at the countless stars in the darkest night sky, free of light pollution. Here, it's the Bear Necessities at their finest. Our cabin is the perfect jumping off point to hike, bike, jeep, tube, kayak... you name it! Leave the city behind and enjoy the wild west.

This hogan style cabin features a spacious, round living space.

Complete with a full kitchen and all modern appliances, you'll have everything you need to whip up delicious meals after your long days adventuring through the canyons.

A four seat dining table gives plenty of space to eat or gather for game nights.

Cozy up on the couch and have a movie night with your loved ones.

The bedroom extends off of the main structure and includes a full ensuite bathroom. Generously sized windows allow in plenty of natural light. Bedroom features a queen bed and plenty of closet space.

Spend your days exploring Mesa Verde and come back to the bear necessities in our cozy, perfectly sized cabin.

Although it’s a rural home it was close to both Durango and Mesa Verde National Park, with several good food options in town and surrounding areas. Close enough for a day trip to Telluride and Monument Valley, Shiprock and Four Corners… had everything we needed and more…

Adorable cabin perfect for a couple! Wonderfully decorated with many added touches to make your stay special. This is located just a few miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park and conveniently between Cortez and Macon. We spent a night just gazing at the stars in this quiet location.
