Host was so easy to communicate with and was very understanding and accommodating to our needs! The cabin itself was so cute, the pictures don’t do it justice! We were here for the Lake Placid Ironman so if you’re looking for a place to stay during the same event in the future, this cabin really works out for it! Just make sure to study the road closures ahead of time.

Cabin is very nice. Within 1/2 mile to river access depending on water level. Dawn was extremely helpful with all communications. Bedding, towels, kitchen, etc were fairly basic but covered our needs. Great WiFi.

We had complete privacy! It was so peaceful, and we could see the stars so clearly. This was the easiest stay I've experienced!!!

The cabin was exactly as described. They even double checked to make sure I noticed that one bathroom only had a tub before confirming the reservation. There was plenty of kitchen utensils, plates and what I needed to cook. This is important to me as we cooked at the cabin every night. All appliances worked, the AC was greatly appreciated as we were there during a heat wave. The cabin is a little off the main roads which I liked. It was an easy drive to everywhere yet we still felt like we were in a mountain cabin. I gave it 4 stars. I have stayed in 5 star places and there are a lot of touches a 5 star place does. I would stay here again. Great communication, before during and after. We rented to hike the high peaks and rest our bones in the hot tub and that is exactly what we did.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a fantastic cabin. Excellent communication from the hosts, and close to the whiteface mountain. Facilities all as described and we will be back!
