This unique property offers breathtaking views of the ocean, inlet, marsh and uninhabited island. Soak up the sun or fish on the secluded beach accessible from your private pier. What a perfect setting for a beach retreat, family gathering or simple golf, fishing, or outlet shopping get-a-way.

This is one of the very few home rentals available on the point of Cherry Grove. You will realize why you chose this property over all the rest from the time you enter the front door and set your eyes on the lovely furnishings and the panoramic views. From the old pine floors and high ceilings, to the fun decor, you will breathe in coastal ambiance.

Newly renovated bathrooms for 2024!

This lovely rental is located on the right side of the 4600 square foot duplex building. On the first floor, you find the living quarters with an open living, dining, and cabana style kitchen combination. The views from this area are absolutely amazing! Connecting the kitchen to the sun room is a butler's pantry area. The sun room is designed for entertainment and relaxation. Here you will find a flat screen TV with a Play Station 3 Blu-Ray Player, games, movies, books, and puzzles, as well as a half bath. Covered balconies are found leading out from the living room and sun room.

On the second floor there is a gorgeous master suite with an amazing view and a walk in shower. You will also find a second bedroom with a queen size bed leading to a private bath. A laundry room is also located on this floor. Both bedrooms have walk out balconies. Two bedrooms with ocean views and a bath are located on the third floor. The third floor bathroom is accessible from the largest bedroom and from the hallway.

The property has a private pier on a small creek that leads directly to Hog Inlet and on to the ocean. The point is constantly changing due to currents, tides, storms, and a recent beach renourishment. A WetSteps seven step stairs are now used in order to access the water and beach from the pier (as seen in the photos). Look at the photos for the differences in the sandbar (that connects to the point) from low to high tide. The most recent photos were taken at the end of August 2022. Since we are no longer allowed to have our floating dock, there is no way to securely tie a boat or kayak. Therefore, unattended watercraft are not allowed.

To make packing a little easier, we provide a locked guest storage area on the ground floor with beach chairs and accessories for guest use including sand toys and boggie boards. We have tried to think of everything possible to make your stay a memorable experience.

Our property is pet friendly for one mature, well behaved dog with a 40 pound weight limit with minimal shedding; no puppies. The pet FEE is $285 plus 12% tax. There is a limit of one dog. Dogs must be PRE-APPROVED by sending an inquiry to the owner listing the breed, weight, and age of the dog PRIOR TO requesting a booking.

There is a flight of stairs to get to the first floor main living area. There is then another flight of stairs to get to the second floor bedrooms and another to get to the 3rd floor bedrooms. It is not handicap accessible. The building has an elevator, but since it is available to both sides of the building, only owners are allowed to use it.

A start up roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, a garbage bag, and one roll of paper towels ARE provided along with bed linens and towels (beach towels are not included).

Once your reservation and deposit have been made, you will be required to send your completed rental agreement along with a copy of your photo ID via email or snail mail.
