We highly recommend this beautiful cabin!My husband and I had been dreaming of experiencing the Northern Lights and an authentic Alaskan sky. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, and we didn’t get to see the lights, but our stay was still absolutely amazing!The location was perfect, and the cabin itself was such a beautiful, welcoming place. The living area and kitchen had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with a wonderful selection of spices, and our host even thoughtfully left a dozen eggs in the fridge for us!The bathrooms were comfortable and spacious, offering plenty of privacy, and the picture windows throughout the home kept us connected to the beautiful outdoors. One of my favorite features was the wood-burning stove, which made the cabin feel even more cozy and special.And the garden! I honestly wished we could have been neighbors so I could garden alongside the hosts. Their beautifully manicured garden and stunning trees made the property even more magical.Even though we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights, the experience was unforgettable. The cabin truly felt like a home away from home, and the hospitality was exceptional.Amazing hosts, a beautiful property, and a place we would return to in a heartbeat! This property was in a perfect location, far enough out to have dark clear skies to see the aurora, but still close enough to restaurants, stores, and things to do. We visited in March of 2026 and even with all of the snow, the roads were good to travel on, you do need to make sure you have either a 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle with winter tires, which is what we had and we had absolutely no issues driving anywhere we wanted. The hosts here were excellent, the house was well kept/very clean with a coffee pot, stove, oven, full fridge, and much more. While we were there, we saw the aurora from the front porch and a moose in the yard on our last day there. It was amazing, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Loved this beautiful property!. Jillian was great with communication and even left us a wonderful surprise in the kitchen. Check in was very easy and Jillian included lots of information about things to do in the surrounding area. My only complaint was that we could not stay longer! Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect quiet refuge

This worked perfectly for us as an extra place to stay for a family event. Beautiful setting. Relaxing deck. Nice amount of room on the main level and comfortable couches. Nice to have 2 bedrooms with doors that close. The local fresh eggs and honey were lovely - I needed more days to eat them all! Would stay again.

Oh my gosh, we cannot say enough good things about this wonderful home away from home in the beautiful nature of Alaska, conveniently located just outside Fairbanks. It truly offers the best of both worlds—an amazing getaway in the woods surrounded by beautiful grounds, gardens, views, and tranquility, while still being just a short drive from the conveniences of town. Absolutely perfect!The house is beautiful, well-maintained, cozy, and clean. It is also equipped with just about everything you could imagine needing on a trip far from home—and even plenty of things you do not realize you need until they are there. So many thoughtful touches throughout the home made our stay especially comfortable.We enjoyed cooking healthy meals in the beautiful kitchen, practicing yoga in front of the incredible windows filled with natural light, and relaxing in the evenings with movies streamed easily on the TV and Wi-Fi. We also appreciated the comfortable beds, cozy linens, and blackout shades during Alaska’s brighter months. Having access to laundry facilities was another great convenience during our extended stay. Most of all, we loved the opportunity to disconnect from the busy world and enjoy time together in this little Alaskan sanctuary. Our hosts we’re welcoming and helpful, providing local eggs, great recommendations, and assistance whenever needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more memorable.This home was a special part of our Alaskan adventure.July 2026
