As you enter the spacious back deck, you will see an abundance of deer. Two jars of corn will be provided for you to feed these amazing creatures (they love to gather at dusk). Your cabin experience has just begun. Take a moment to take in the deck furnishings....wood burning fireplace, spacious seating, dining table to dine alfresco, gas grill, and seasonal mountain views.
As you enter the cabin from the expansive deck, you will feel like you just walked into cabin perfection. Exhale and take in the open concept kitchen, den, and large sunroom. You have entered a true custom family cabin that will please beyond measure.
Take your choice of three bedrooms on the main level, one master (King) with ensuite bath, another king bedroom with adjacent shared bath with the final Queen bedroom on this level. You will also find an expansive four season porch to sip a glass of wine and read a good book.
Venture downstairs to a small den, a separate room for a game of pool, and the fourth bedroom (King) with ensuite bath sporting a custom wine barrel sink from a local winery.

Everything in the cabin was perfect, and it exceeded our expectations! It was comfortable, well stocked, and beautiful! We loved feeding the deer, sitting in the hot tub, and playing games with our family. We’ll definitely be back!

Cabin at Doe Hill has a main deck with 2 tables and custom made chairs, with a wood burning fireplace, partial mountain views and a gas grill. The kitchen is fully stocked with a drip, Keurig and French press coffee makers, crock pot, blender, toaster, dish washer, stove microwave, refrigerator, cookware and more. The cabin includes 3 king bedrooms, a basement king bedroom, and 3 full bathrooms with luxury towels, private label soaps, shampoo and conditioner. There are TVs in the master bedroom and guest bedroom on main level, living room (with DVD player), and the basement den. High-speed internet, cable TV and puzzles, games and books provided. The cabin has ample parking provided. This cabin does not allow pets.

Cabin at Doe Hill is located in the beautiful setting of the Coosawattee River Resort, a gated community, approximately 4 miles (10 to 15 minute drive) from historic downtown Ellijay. You are just a short drive from Blue Ridge (19 miles, a 35 minute drive), Amicalola Falls State Park, the beginning or terminus of the Appalachian Trail (40 minute drive), Fort Mountain State Park (1 hour drive), Gahuti Mountain Trail (45 minute drive), and several Vineyards for wine tasting (Chateau Meichtry, Buckley,Ellijay River, Engelheim, Otts, and Roo, all within a 15 to 30 minute drive. Other attractions in the area are Cohutta Wildlife Management Area, for hiking and fishing, You can also take the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (call to reserve a ride), a historic train ride through the stunning North Georgia Mountains. Through the entire year is a great time to visit the numerous apple houses for all kinds of fruits, vegetables, and fruit pastries and pies.
