It would be unfair to give any other rating than a 10/10 to this property. The host responses for any matter were lighting fast and purposeful of resolving the issue. Best views in town with a touch of nature and modernism.
Our extended family of 15 (8 adults, 7 kids) really enjoyed our stay at the lookout. The views from the home were SO beautiful! A couple things worth noting about the listing 1) we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the house upon arrival. Floors were dirty, crumbs on couch, nails in driveway, contacted the host who did offer for cleaning crew to come back. 2) you will hear every footstep upstairs in the downstairs bedrooms so I would recommend sound machines especially if traveling with children 3) beds were comfy and the double beds in bunk room were are huge bonus, especially for the kids 4) you WILL absolutely see bears, and they WILL try to get in your car make sure car doors are locked and all food out of them 5) for a house that fits so many people there is not a whole lot of cookware and kitchen utensils but we made do or bought what we needed at the store 6) we did have some electrical issues with blowing fuses if lights on and hair dryer was plugged in the upstairs and main floor bathroom. Repair man was sent out during stay, but ultimately could not fix the issue due to the mixed construction. 7) fridge upstairs is small but there is a fridge on bottom level as well which was helpful. Location is great and super easy to get to pigeon forge or gatlinburg! Property host was easy to communicate with.
