About the host
Hosted by Kendra Manning

Welcome to our little slice of heaven. My husband and I purchased this cottage five years ago. It is our only property at this time. We live here five days a week and open it up for short-term renting on the weekends. We love the Harbor Springs area, and want to share it and invite more people to see it.
We are an outdoorsy couple. We spend hours weekly in the backyard tending to our fruit trees, gardens, flowers, and making improvements. In our free time, we're most likely in the area. We enjoy attending community events, musicals, watching local bands, and spending time with friends and family. Almost every morning around 6am, you'll likely find me fishing on one of our many lakes.

Why they chose this property
The to-go list is endless here. There is always something for everyone. Check out community events happening every day, or take the day to explore one of the many attractions.
Our top 3 must-do/go places:
*Pond Hill Farm is a staple.(About a 15-minute drive) They have food, beer, and wine, tons of walking trails for exploring, a trout pond( & yes, you can feed the trout), bands, seasonal events, a gift shop, and they're kid-friendly.
*The Tunnel of Trees is the best scenic route that Northern Michigan has to offer. There are many scenic stopping areas where you can get out and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Also, there are many nature preserves to walk in, including a few that lead to a beach area. Along the way, stop at the famous Trillium Woods coffee shop. The coffee is divine. They always have fresh-baked goods and have an assortment of unique, locally made gifts.
*The Petoskey State Park....it's not just a beach. The park offers a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, swimming, picnicking, volleyball, and there is a playground. Additionally, you can rent bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards. But looking for Petoskey Stones is the most popular.

What makes this property unique
Our cottage is conveniently located just outside the downtown Harbor Springs area. If you prefer a quieter, more peaceful setting, but still want to be close(within 5 minutes) to everything, then our place is right for you. Additionally, while we still have neighbors, our home is nestled in a private setting.
