Imagine starting the morning on the deck, immersed in nature. Here, the serene mountain vibe seamlessly blends with all the comforts of home, promising an unforgettable escape.
Kitchen: Get ready to whip up mountain-sized meals in this newly remodeled kitchen! It boasts gleaming granite countertops, a suite of stainless-steel appliances, and even a versatile Hamilton FlexBrew Coffee Maker (compatible with K-Cup Pods) for your morning brew. Plus, we've stocked it with essential coffee, tea, and seasonings to kickstart your culinary adventures.
Living Room: Unwind in ultimate comfort after a day on the slopes or lake. The inviting living room features a Smart TV, soaring vaulted ceilings, and a cozy gas fireplace perfect for chilly evenings. Sink into the plush reclining sofa and chair or find your favorite spot in the fixed-position armchair, with an extra floor-standing heater for added warmth.
Master Bedroom: Drift off to dreams in the serene Master Bedroom, complete with a new queen-size bed featuring memory foam for unparalleled comfort. You'll find a spacious closet brimming with extra blankets and pillows, a refreshing ceiling fan, and your own Smart TV for late-night entertainment.
Second Bedroom: This charming second bedroom offers another haven of rest with its newer queen-size bed with memory foam. A spacious closet provides ample storage and extra bedding, while a ceiling fan keeps the air circulating. Convenience is key here, with a washer and dryer, plus an iron and board readily available.
Outdoor Space: Embrace the quintessential Big Bear experience from your very own Metcalf Bay retreat! Enjoy lovely lake views from the expansive deck and a fenced-in side yard. You're just a block from the shimmering lake – less than a 5-minute stroll to launch your canoe or kayak from the end of Delamar Drive. This home is nestled in a super quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood with no thru streets, ensuring peaceful mountain living.

Parking Instructions: Up to (2) cars are permitted to park in front of the deck or behind the cabin on driveway. No street parking is allowed.

Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.
(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.
(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.
(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.
(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.
(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.
(7) Pet- All pets must be disclosed and pet fees paid in full prior to your arrival. Please be sure to clean up after your pets, please do not allow them on the furniture or bedding, and for their safety do not leave them outside unattended. Any pet waste left inside or outside of the home or damages to the home are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees.
(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.
(9) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.
(10) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.
(11) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.
Please keep in mind you must be 21 years old to book.
