About the host

I am originally from NJ but with deep Appalachian roots. The maternal side of my Family originated in Boone, NC. The pull of the Mountains have brought me back to NC to settle here in McDowell County.
Why they chose this property
I felt this neighborhood was in the perfect spot for glamping. It is close to Interstate 40 {2 miles} making it easy for guest to get out and explore the area attractions and towns like Old Fort, Black Mountain and Asheville.
The property itself sits atop a ridge, has 3+ acres where the domes are surrounded by trees and situated to give guests privacy from each other and from the neighbors. Summer views are peek a boo due to the leaves, spring, winter and fall have long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

What makes this property unique
Staying in a Geodesic Dome is a Unique Experience in itself with its natural positive energy flow inside. Domes are the strongest structures made by man and were invented in the close town of Black Mountain by Buckminster Fuller.
