PLEASE SEND AN INQUIRY BEFORE YOU REQUEST TO BOOK! This spacious and comfortable family home is perfect for family get aways. It's located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, just 1.5 miles from Chautauqua Institution. Enjoy the outdoors with a large lakefront deck, private dock, fire pit, and big open yard, all while taking in the beauty of Chautauqua lake and dramatic sunrises and sunsets. Inside, on the first floor, you will find a remodeled kitchen, spacious LR and DR with stone fireplace, 2 bedrooms and a new bath. On the 2nd floor there are 3 more bedrooms and another 2 full baths. One of those baths is being redone this spring. In total there are 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, hardwood floors throughout and beamed ceiling in LR. There is air conditioning on the first floor that can be aided by fans upstairs on the hottest days.

Well suited to families - not a place for big or loud parties. Sleeps 9 adults comfortably. Rents Saturday to Saturday during summer - shorter stays available in off season. Bed #1 King, Bed #2 Queen, Bed #3 Two Twins, Bed #4 Two Twins, Bed #5 Double. *WIFI* *Roku TV* ; NO SMOKING and NO PETS. PLEASE SEND AN INQUIRY BEFORE YOU REQUEST TO BOOK.

Beautiful views, peaceful and clean

Had a wonderful stay at this lake house. Beautiful views of the lake right out the back door, house very clean and contains everything needed to accommodate a group. Susan was very attentive and quick to respond.

A perfect place for our fall escape to the lake. It was amazing to wake up and see the fog across the lake and we even had some geese and ducks come by while we were there. The house had everything we needed. The owner was doing work on one of the bathrooms but with it just being 5 of us, we were able to make do with the two bathrooms. House was conveniently located to the Institute and only a 10min drive to Wegmans. I am sure this would be a great rental during the summer given the access to the lake.

Susan was a great host. She was kind and easy to get in contact with. She was able to provide recommendations of things to do for my family and I. The lake was beautiful and very quiet. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would recommend bringing your own pillows is my only take away! Other than that it was a lovely home and enjoyed our time.

A spacious home in a beautiful location! Susan was wonderful about communicating with us both before and during our stay. The home is very comfortable and well-equipped. While the upstairs rooms are not air-conditioned, fans were available and cooler evening temps kept things comfortable. We would gladly return.

Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay. The house is located on a very desirable section of Chautauqua Lake, and the street/neighborhood is very quite. The house itself met all of our needs and had plenty of room. The home's owner Susan was great to work with and was very responsive.

Perfect family getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay here! My family and I stayed here on our first vacation with everyone in years and Susan's place was the perfect backdrop. The location is wonderful -- quiet and on a lovely street off the main road. The large backyard, dock, deck, etc made our time there very special. It was our first visit to Chautauqua but certainly won't be our last. Susan was extremely helpful throughout our entire booking process + stay. Also, we LOVED Steadman Corners Cafe and ate there multiple times. Great place to go explore or just stay in and relax :)

Family getaway

The house and all the facilities were great – it was the weather that was not so great. Susan was very helpful and concerned about our comfort. The kitchen was well equipped, so we did a lot of cooking. We'd love to revisit the house in warmer weather.

Clean and Comfortable Stay

The house is very comfortable and clean with a very responsive and friendly owner who was accommodating to a larger group with small children. The house has an open living area with a beautifully updated kitchen. Big deck outside with a decently sized yard with plenty of shady trees. Everyone in our party had a very enjoyable time and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and friendlier. Great location, within 10 minutes of a grocery store and many local sites. The house was equipped with everything we needed for the weekend.

Great Location!

This home is in a wonderful neighborhood and location. It is 1 mile from the main gate of Chautauqua Institution and only a few miles to Mayville and Bemus Point. The home is very large and the layout is very appealing. The deck, grill, and dock were used heavily. The home is overdue on some needed updates (bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), more than is indicated in the listing. Overall, we had a great time and working with Susan was flawless.

Mini getaway

We had a wonderful time at Susan’s place. We had beautiful views of the lake and the neighborhood was so beautiful for our daily walks. Location was great. The guys played golf . We toured a mansion in Westfield just a 15 minute drive from Susan’s place. Had lunch at a cute spot on the water also. Susan was a great host and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Relaxing Family Vacation

Our vacation at Chautauqua was very enjoyable. The location is great - quiet street where the grandchildren were safe to bike and scooter as well as a large yard to accommodate their play. Fishing at the end of the dock was great for my grandson and his father. We brought our boat, the launch was convenient at the end of the road and the dock worked out great. The open floorplan made it easy for the whole family to be together. There were beautiful views from all of the rooms and they made perfect backdrops for our annual family pictures. The family also enjoyed midway, putt putt and the Institution. Susan was very responsive from the planning stage through our entire visit. Thank you for sharing your home! Hope to visit again next year.

Fantastic Host and Great House

This is a perfect lake house for a family. Plenty of space to stretch out, great outdoor area, nice fire pit and dock, beautiful yard. The kitchen is really well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, plenty of towels, super clean. Really couldn't be happier with our experience. Susan was just so wonderful, she made sure that we knew everything about the house, where everything was, and when it rained she made sure we knew where the board games were! She was also incredibly flexible around booking (our dates were up in the air) and she even offered to let us stay an extra day because the weather was bad (which obviously isn't her fault). Just a fantastic experience, facilitated by a wonderful host. If I'm ever in the area again I will be staying at this house (if it's available).

Stellar view of the Bell Tower, magnificent large maple trees, easy to swim from the dock. Friendly neighbors! House has glass doors opening to lake front deck and large windows for great views. Open layout and new kitchen with top of line appliances is terrific for entertaining.
