THAT VIEW! WOW! This cabin is AMAZING! Updated, clean, cozy, comfy...just perfect! Quiet, secluded, no neighbors in sight. Sitting in the hot tub at night and seeing all those stars, absolutely relaxing and refreshing! Brian is awesome, very responsive, and he has so many games! We will be back!!
My senior requested a 3 day weekend of relaxation in a mountain cabin in place of a senior trip. I wanted a view & hot tub on a budget. We found another place in a different town and it got scooped up before we made the leap. Thank goodness it did, bc it led us to look & find this place - which was even better! This was everything we needed & more. Don’t forget your SPF! Otherwise, you will go home with a souvenir from all the time you spend soaking in the scenery from the deck. I do highly recommend going the old school Mapquest style way to get to the cabin as our signal dropped as we got near & the driveway is difficult to find for the first time in pitch black darkness of late night arrival. If you arrive in daylight, you’ll have no issue. Local recs: If you go between April & October, hit the Farmers Market downtown on Saturdays for farm fresh beef from Heifer & Bull, for fantastic burgers on the deck grill. Grizzley Bear Restaurant for homemade breakfast & Rare Bird Emporium for great coffee & local souvenirs. The host leaves an Ingles reward/discount card to use for more affordable grocery shopping if you plan to eat in. We went to Fields Of The Wood after check out and got some amazing views & some spiritual time. Overall incredible trip! We’re already discussing a return for a longer stay!

I am from Sarasota Fl. I found this place in 2021. I fell in love with the property as soon as I got out of my truck and saw that view.. I have always loved the mountains and nature. I wanted to be in an area that was the real NC. I did want the tourist trap. I found Murphy to be a beautiful small town with friendly people.
