About this property
Hearth & Timber - A Black Mountain Retreat
Hearth & Timber is a historic log cabin netstled in theh heart of Black Mountain, offering rare long-range views over the golf course and Blue Ridge Mountains. Built in the early 1800s and expanded in 1920, this one-of-a-kind retreat blends original hand-hewn character with modern comfort. With two spacious porches, a gathering-ready layout, and timeless craftsmanship throughout, it’s the perfect base for golf trips, guys’ weekends, and group getaways that appreciate a cabin with soul.
We want to let you know that the cabin is currently undergoing an exciting renovation and by the time of your visit you may notice a few updates not yet reflected in the listing photos. Don’t worry, the property is in great shape and it will be keeping its rustic charm, but the renovations will bring an updated luxe feel, especially to the bedrooms. We’ll be updating the listing with new photos as the improvements are completed. The property will be ready to accept new guests with these changes on August 29th.
