Stunning views, great communication, a sparkling clean property, thoughtful touches. We had a wonderful stay! So much we want to make it an annual trip. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful Adirondack getaway! We spent a few nights at Tamarack Cottage enjoying spectacular fall colors, hiking, exploring the area, and time with longtime friends.The setting is remarkable. Panoramic mountain views changed throughout the day as shifting sunlight and passing clouds transformed the landscape, while brilliant gold and chartreuse tamaracks caught the light across the foothills. We never tired of the scenery.The cottage is beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We loved the inviting living spaces and well-appointed kitchen, where preparing meals and sharing good food and wine became part of the experience. The wood-burning fireplace added warmth and ambiance to evenings filled with stories, conversation, and laughter.The location offers an ideal balance of outdoor adventure and peaceful relaxation. We hiked at Paul Smith's VIC, browsed the shops and farmers' market in Saranac Lake, and enjoyed scenic drives through the autumn landscape. We always looked forward to returning to those incredible views. Cell coverage at the cottage was excellent, though we happily left our laptops unopened.Mark was a gracious and responsive host, and it's clear that considerable thought and care went into creating a place where guests feel at home. We're grateful to Mark and Erin for sharing it.Tamarack Cottage was the perfect setting for a memorable getaway with dear friends. We'd love to return!

Greg and his group were absolutely wonderful guests! Communication was exceptional from start to finish, and they were incredibly thoughtful, respectful, and considerate of our home. They left Tamarack Cottage in immaculate condition, making our job as hosts so much easier. It’s guests like Greg who make hosting such a pleasure. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would enthusiastically welcome them back anytime. Highly recommended to any fellow Vrbo host!
