We believe in being hands-on with hospitality and hands-off with your space.

Check-in: You’ll enjoy keyless entry for convenience. We’ll send you a custom access code prior to arrival, along with helpful tips to get settled in.

Before You Arrive: We’ll send you a digital guidebook with everything you need to know, from how to light the wood stove to our favorite nearby hikes and restaurants. The guidebook will also be available on your TV welcome screen, by QR code.

Communication: We’re available via Airbnb messaging and personally answer each message. We’ll also share our direct number on your TV welcome screen so you can reach us anytime during your stay.

Check out: Unlike some rentals, we don’t give our guests a twelve step check out process (“wash the dishes, strip the beds, scrub the walls, feed the cat…”) We have a professional cleaning crew for that. So think of our cleaning fee as the “sleep in on checkout day” pass. Come, unwind, and leave the mop where it belongs: not in your hands.

A Note About Nature & Safety

We’re thrilled to share this wild and beautiful setting with you. Part of what makes Será so special is its deep connection to the outdoors. That said, nature comes with its own rules. The property includes rocks, trees, natural trails, and uneven terrain, and you may encounter wildlife such as insects, spiders, wasps, snakes, and other critters. Additionally, we allow dogs on property so you may encounter other guests’ dogs. Please be mindful, take your own precautions, and come prepared as you would for any outdoor experience. Guests assume full responsibility for their safety while exploring the land.

Plunge Pool and Sauna

Each villa has a private heated plunge pool that is integrated into the deck and positioned for optimal stargazing, but please use caution. No diving, running, or horseplay. Do not sit or stand on the far edge of the pool, as it is free-floating and not designed to support excessive weight.

The property also has a dry sauna on site. Please read the caution sign in the sauna.

No pets in the pool or sauna. Children must be supervised at all times. Alcohol and heat don’t always mix well, so please enjoy responsibly.

We’re Devin and Jasmine, partners in life and in building Será. We’re based in Washington DC and split our time between city life and the rural landscapes of West Virginia, where many of our projects live.

Devin is an architect and Jasmine is an attorney. We’ve spent years traveling, designing, and studying what makes places feel meaningful rather than just functional. Creating Será grew naturally out of that. We wanted to create spaces we’d genuinely want to stay in ourselves. Calm, well designed, thoughtfully equipped, and connected to their surroundings.

We love hosting because it allows us to share places that slow people down a bit. Not in a precious way, just in a way that feels considered and human.

Why they chose this property

The property sits in a quiet, natural setting where the pace shifts almost immediately after you arrive. The landscape does a lot of the work here. Forest, open sky, and a sense of space that’s hard to find in daily life.

What we love most is the balance. You feel removed, but not isolated. Mornings are quiet and expansive. Days invite hiking, reading, cooking, or doing nothing at all. Nights are about stillness, weather, and being present.

The surrounding area is understated and authentic. It’s not curated for tourists, which is exactly the appeal. It’s a place where nature sets the tone and you can settle into it at your own speed.

What makes this property unique

This isn’t a generic short term rental. Every decision, from the layout to the materials to the kitchen setup, was intentional.

As architect owners, we designed the space from the ground up around how people actually live and unwind. It’s minimal but warm, refined without being precious, and equipped the way we expect a place to be when we travel ourselves. Real cookware, comfortable furniture, thoughtful lighting, and spaces that feel good to be in.

More than anything, what sets it apart is that it’s personal. We’re directly involved in the design, the upkeep, and the experience. Guests aren’t passed off to a faceless operator. You’re staying somewhere that reflects real care, real taste, and a genuine desire to create a memorable, grounded stay.
