Inside, you will find paintings, photos, pottery, crafts, and sculptures by local artists. Outside, the private setting on 2.9 acres of woods and lawn provides opportunities for you to enjoy the view and the fresh air, birdwatch by day, stargaze by night, and if you hike the nature trail behind the home, you may meet one of the adorable red salamanders who are our namesake! A seven minute drive brings you to the Blue Ridge Parkway or to the quaint town of Floyd with arts, music, food and wine from local farms. Plan your relaxing, restful, and rejuvenating stay today.
Just a few reminders:
1 - NO Pets allowed, we have other properties you can bring FIDO
2 - Absolutely NO Smoking of any kind
3 - Please do not move furniture
4 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels
5 - Remember it`s our home, so treat it with respect
