This beautiful GULF-ACCESS home has it all: a LARGE DUAL-HEATED POOL, a HUGE LANAI sun deck, over-sized landscaped lot, 2 living rooms, 4 KAYAKS and lots of life jackets of all sizes, 8 bicycles (4 adult and 4 kids) with helmets, PS3 & games, 4 TVs with over 100 cable channels, tons of board games, a piano keybd, washer/dryer, portable playpen and booster seat, and much more. Located on a low traffic residential street in the heart of SE Cape Coral, with shopping and dining nearby. It's on the main gulf-access San Carlos Canal, with a shoreline patio and dock where you can park a rental boat. The extra deep back yard provides privacy and is beautifully landscaped. The very large lanai has a large dual-heated pool that opens to four different rooms, and has a large deck with loungers and cozy outdoor furniture with year-round full sun (or enjoy year-round full shade under the covered portion by the house).

This is our own vacation home, so we keep it very clean and well maintained, and fully stocked of all the accessories. The home has 3 bedrooms, 3 washrooms, and two living areas. The family room has large sliders to the lanai, a big screen TV and PS3. The living room has vanishing sliders to the lanai and a beautiful canal view. The dining room seats 8 and has a piano keyboard. The large kitchen has an island with breakfast bar and a breakfast table, and also opens to the lanai.

The large master suite has vanishing sliders to the lanai, a walk-in closet, and a king bed. The large 5 piece master bath has an over-sized walk-in shower, separate deep tub, dual vanities, and a separate toilet room.

Enjoy our over-sized Lanai sun or shade, rain or shine! The typical lanai features a pool and a small deck area around it. Not ours! Our Lanai has a huge open deck area that has all day sun all year! Half of the deck area has loungers for just relaxing by the pool, and the other half features cozy out door furniture for pleasant conversations or reading or even working by the pool (with elec outlets). Don't like the sun, or it's raining out? No problem, our Lanai also has a large covered area that let's you still enjoy the outdoors. The patio table seats 8. The pool is dual-heated solar and electric for reliable year round swimming! The living room stereo has a separate zone for the Lanai so you can be listening to your favorite tunes by the pool. Our large Lanai with flow through access to 4 rooms is truly the focal point of our beautiful home, and will make this a vacation to remember.

Additional amenities that make this home the complete vacation experience include Wireless High Speed Internet, laser printer, Cable TV, PS3 system and games, a large movie collection, a garage, outdoor and indoor games, 8 bicycles, and a 2 person fishing/touring kayak.

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this house. My kids especially loved the big pool. We enjoyed playing the numerous games provided and ending the night on the large comfy couch. The kitchen was stocked with supplies. Great communication with the owners.

A Fun stay

We had a fun time with our week in the Ft Myers area, and our stay at the house was a good part of it. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own spots, but also had great areas to come together to eat, swim, and overall enjoy our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to navigate. Can’t wait to come again!

A month in paradise

A beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean home with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great place!

We had a great stay at this well kept up home in a nice quiet neighborhood in Cape Coral. Todd communicated accurately and responded quickly. This home lays out well, with great access and many doors to the outside with a large pool, and canal. Wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities. Next year we'll set aside time to enjoy the 4 kayaks and several bikes! Definitely would rent again!

Fantastic Vacation!

Todd and Patricia’s house was perfect for our family Christmas. The house was impeccably clean, had everything you could possibly need, is centrally located, and the two living rooms worked out great for the kids and adults to have some space. The pool was heated and the lanai was very large with a big table that we ate most of our meals on. Todd was incredibly responsive to any questions. Can’t recommend the place enough! If ever back in the area, would definitely stay here again

Cleanliness!!!

The house was super clean and was stocked with everything we needed! I am very picky and it even met my expectations. The dock was perfect for fishing and the neighborhood was quiet. The next door neighbors were also very friendly. The host answered my questions in a timely manner and even offered to let us stay an extra night due to our flight being canceled. I would highly recommend staying here.

The home was beautifully maintained and clean. It’s very apparent the owners take great pride in the home. The pool was the biggest perk for our family as well as the bikes and kayaks. Communication with the owners was prompt and easy. We were a little bummed the banana tree is gone but luckily the grocery store wasn’t far away!

Great stay, very relaxing

We stayed 2 weeks, just my wife and I the first week, joined by the kids and our 3 young grandchildren. The house is stocked with all sorts of activities for kids and adults and we made use of them all. With 2 large family rooms, both of which open onto the pool, we had plenty of room for everyone. We even used the grill to entertain guests. We were not sure about the utility of the canal but was our favorite place to sit on the lit dock to wind down the day. Outstanding in every aspect!

This house was perfect for the 5 of us (age range 13 - 62). Plenty of room to spread out. Everything you could ever want to have a comfortable vacation was available at the house (pool, kayaks, bicycles, games, books) I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a rental in Cape Coral. The owners were so kind - communicated with us often to make sure all was good. Very clear instructions on TV's in the house and check in/out procedures. I loved this house and will be back again next year (if available.!)

One word AMAZING!

It was wonderful having our dinner on the lanai every night. The home was stocked with anything and everything we could possibly want. Although the beaches had red tide and/or were closed due to Ian.. we were able to enjoy the privacy of a wonderfully warm pool daily. Loved the bikes and took many rides around neighborhood to experience seeing the burrowing owls. Using the kayaks on the canals was an added bonus. We went to the farmers market and visited Edison Ford Estates as well. All in all this was a paradise vacation!

We enjoyed 10 days at Todd & Tricia’s. The house was very well stocked and was very clean. They provided some of the best documentation about the house and the area that I’ve ever had at a VRBO. The kayak, bikes and games were great for the kids and we spent a lot of time in the heated pool. We liked the layout of the house with the master bedroom, kitchen and two different family rooms each having access to the pool area. We had my parents along and my dad is mobility restricted from a recent stroke and we also had our children along so the easy access around the house but yet separate spaces worked out great! We rented a large boat for a few days and the boat rental company did not want us to keep the boat at the dock but smaller boats should work fine. Todd said several have rented and tied up there. In summary, our entire family thought this was a great house and Todd & Tricia did an outstanding job answering our questions and making it a GREAT stay!

Home away from home

We have gone on vacation now for a few years always a different place. Let me tell you this place is one I would go back to. I never felt home sick it was our home away from home. If you forget anything on your list, I bet you they have it at this home. My kids absolutely loved that they could go fish off the dock and then jump in the pool after a while. The delicious choices of restaurants seemed to be a quick drive of 15 minutes. Best part was coming home after a long full day and getting to sit down and play a game as a family or finish a puzzle we started . All of that is provided there. The only thing I would say is someone should go through some of the games and puzzles the younger kids games most are broken. Also we did a awesome parrot puzzle and there was two pieces missing . I thought this place honestly was one of the best places we have stayed and would recommend it to anyone if they asked . We will for sure be back .

The owners were very quick to respond. When we got there, the garbage disposal was broken (previous renters put bones in it). I emailed the owner and he got right back to me.

We are a professional couple who live in Kingston, Canada and this Florida home is our own vacation home which we enjoy as often as we can, and which we rent out when we are not using. Our beautiful home is immaculate, and in a great neighborhood. We have a group of very reliable maintenance people who regularly care for the lawn, pool, cleaning, and any required repairs, and can be called upon if anything needs attention. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We love the SW Gulf Coast of Florida because of its laid back lifestyle that is similar in feel to our home community in Kingston. Unlike the east coast or upper west coast, which are dense urban centres, the SW Gulf has a relaxed low key, low stress style. The area is world renowned for its beaches, golf, and fishing charters. Cape Coral - Ft Myers is a medium size urban area (750 K) with a small town feel. I grew up in the country and love boating, so the fact that Cape Coral is the world's largest canal city is ideal. With our floating kayak dock and 4 kayaks (including a 2 person one), the whole family can get out and cruise the relaxing and safe salt water canals (alligators are fresh water not salt water, so all you'll see are the jumping Mullet fish and maybe a manatee or a dolphin.)

What makes this property unique

Our home is perfectly located. It is in the original SE section of the city, close to all amenities, but on a quiet side street. It is also on a main gulf access canal, so we enjoy sitting on our dock watching boats go by, or fishing off the dock. Our home has 2 separate living areas and a huge lanai that makes for ideal hosting and entertaining.
