Great location so close to beach. Very helpful to have a rinsing station also appreciated the beach towel and chairs lots of extras for kids. Inside and outside furniture comfortable .

Great location for exploring area

Nice neighborhood great to be right on the beach could socially distance and yet still explore the area. Close to grocery and gas station but far enough away that you felt more in a neighborhood and not in a downtown area. easy distance to national parks and downtown St. Augustine area. Comfortable rooms and nice living room to relax in.

Perfect getaway!

This property was perfect for our family! We had a wonderful mini-vacation and would definitely come back. We loved having the ocean right out the back door. Don’t be afraid to rent the lower level of this property. We could still see the ocean waters over the beautiful dunes and sea oats during our stay.

Vilano retreat

What a great place to have a relaxing stay. The unit was right on the beach! The place was clean and comfortable. Nice patio with a grill for cooking and beach chairs and towels for our use. Loved the area as it was quiet but close if you wanted to go into St Augustine. Also close to some good restaurants. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay here again if coming back to the area. Thanks so much.

Relaxing family vacation

We needed a low-key relaxing vacation with our 3 year old and 1.5 year old children. This was the perfect place, with the beach literally out the back door, plenty of space to play indoors as well, close to town but not right in the middle of the commotion. The property was fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We were very comfortable. The beach itself is lovely and we had a lovely time playing in the sand and enjoying the water.

Great space, location and value.

We’ve stayed just a few doors down before and familiar with the area. This location offers you everything you need for a comfortable stay! Convinient washer/dryer in unit and great access to the beach just steps away! Only gave 4 stars for property management communication because we never needed to so not sure if it’s easy or not. The management VACASA APP had all the info we needed and very professionally setup. We will repeat!

Be careful of your choice! Not downstairs!

There are many things to be said here but felt the pictures are misleading. I stayed in the B unit and you can't even see the beach from this unit. I would think that pictures should be taken so the person looking at getting this unit knows exactly what they are going to see. My entire thought process was going to sit out on the deck and overlook the water and instead saw the view of a grass dune. Also the downstairs is only a single bathroom and thought I was getting a 2 bath place. If you want I can list a lot more concerns and thoughts on the unit but feel the homeowner should be more engaged as I do not feel the management company is doing the owner justice. When paying almost $400 a night I would expect alot more than what I got.

True beachfront condo

We recently stayed a few nights at this condo on the lower level. The beach was right outside the back door, Publix was 2 minutes down the road and downtown St. Augustine was about 12 minutes. The space was clean and had almost everything. WiFi wasn't the greatest which made rainy hours a little less fun. Few things to note; the door you see in a bedroom with no door knob, is right next to the stairs that lead to the 2nd level and can get very noisy. We had assumed that it was a utility closet. Beds are firm. The space is clean but very dated, and some money could be invested into the bathroom for a nicer experience. Also, a drying rack or clothesline would be wonderful for wet swim suits and towels. The worst discovery was finding 9 beach chairs on the patio- I had emailed prior to our trip to ask if there were beach chairs available for use and was told no, so we spent almost $300 on our own, brought them down just to discover we didn't have to do that.

Great location, but it needed some maintenance.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the lower apartment for 4 nights. It has some great features and some not-so-great features. Pros: Great Beach Access. It has a boardwalk access to the beach, so easy access to the beach. I think some of the seating on the patio were for the beach. Great Patio. There's a nice patio with plenty of seating and a grill (I assume it works as we didn't use it). Great Location: It's in the quiet area with plenty of dining options. Also, it's about 10 minutes from Old Town St Augustine. Nice decor/furniture. Nice beachy theme going with a nicely stocked kitchen. No coffee, but there is a coffee maker. This didn't bother me as I am not a coffee drinker. Bedrooms. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan. My bed and the pillows were somewhat hard, but that is a personal preference. Management Company Response: They were quick when I complained about the calcium buildup on the kitchen sink. Cons: Not soundproof. On the first two nights, the apartment above us was occupied. The folks were not noisy, but I could hear them when they blew their noses or coughed; when they had conversions (not yelling); when they did the dishes; when they went up and down the stairs at 4:30 am to pack their car to leave. I would think I should hear some of that, but not the conversions and dishes. Maintenance needed: The faucet in the kitchen and the drain in the bathroom were encrusted with calcium deposits. The management company did come out and chipped away at the faucet. The drain in the bathroom sink was very rusty. The wall next to the bathroom sink was pretty marked up with what I suspect from the wall mounted mirror. The door to the bedroom to the right of the bathroom didn't close. It looked to me that the door was either crooked or the frame has shifted. It was more than just too much paint on the door and frame. It's probably okay if you spend most of your time on the beach, but we were there in early December, so we may have spent more time in the unit than we would have if we had been there in the summer.

The rooms were run down and i have bed bug bites all over my legs and arms. The rental had a broken door to one bedroom and dirty bed sheets. The beds were uncomfortable. The rental company ask that we wash our towels, turn down the beds and take the garbage out. Extremely unsatisfactory and surprised this is recommended by VRBO.
