ATTN WINTER TEXANS!!BEACHFRONT COMPLEX- 1st FLOOR & FULLY RENOVATED!

SPI City Tax is no longer charged with the reservation payment due to the change made by Texas State effective April 1, 2019. This first floor, one bedroom condo sleeps 1-4 or 5 people comfortably with a King size bed in the bedroom and a full size sleeper couch in the living room. The bath has handicap bars in the shower and has been recently remodeled and updated. The condo is equipped with blender, crock pot, chopper, coffee pot, microwave, WiFi, 2 TV’s, cable with 6 HBO and 4 ESPN channels, linens and bath towels. A guest laundry facility is provided on the property. I also provide a wagon to carry your things to the beach, an ice chest, umbrella, two lawn chairs and sand toys for the children at no extra charge. All you need to bring with you is swimwear, beach towels and food to have a wonderful time in the beautiful waters of South Padre Island. THERE REALLY IS A PARADISE IN TEXAS!
This property is registered with the City of SPI permit no. 2015-969121. *We have 2 exterior cameras, one overlooking the front door and one at the patio door which records video and audio.

Beautiful place! Very clean and tidy. Anything & everything you need in the kitchen is there available for you. Location is great as its walking distance to the beach. My only suggestion would be that the bed needs to be upgraded. Very squeaky & uncomfortable. Other than that, perfect location & amazing experience!

Comfy get away. I needed a last minute beach vacation. Came across this jewel and I am so glad I did. It was just as described and the prize was excellent. This is the time to go to Padre Island if you want to avoid the crowd. This condo has easy access on the bottom floor. A must for me and the wife and our bad knees. The place has been remodeled and looked amazing. The time the owner took to decorate it made a huge difference. It is small and cozy. Just what we needed to get away and just relax. The owner was always available from the start to answer questions. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. I will book this place again and I highly recommended.

The condo is perfect and beautiful. The humidifier made it so much better. Everything you could possibly need. The walk to the beach is a little bit, but no streets to cross, you pass both pools and through one parkinglot to get to the beach. If you use the cart, it is easier to go from the street because there are stairs from the tiki to the beach. This was the cleanest place I have ever visited. The bed was very comfortable. Pots and pans to cook, dishes to eat off of, even ice trays in the freezer. The shower had great pressure. There was even hand soap. The only small negative I have is the camera at the back porch, took away a little privacy, making us not take advantage of the patio as much as we would have liked.

As for the patio camera, we’ve had things taken from the patio (a couple of wagons n lawn chairs) so as a last resort we installed the camera. The place was very clean. They had plenty of dishes to cook whatever we wanted. All my questions were answered promptly when I emailed the host. My grandson had so much fun. We were walking distance to the beach. We want to plan another trip next year with them again.

The property itself was nice and manicured. The condo is nice but small. Definitely would not have no more than 3 people, especially when sharing one bathroom. I was disappointed that the day I arrived, the pool close to the condo unit was under maintenance. The property should notify the owners so that they can notify the renters, especially when you're paying good money. Did not get to enjoy any pool time due to that the only other pool far from the unit, which was inconvenient, was always full and occupied. Overall, 4/5.

Had a wonderful experience while planning this trip. Irma was a pleasure to work with. The condo was even better in person than the photos. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The bedroom had extra blankets and pillows. Nice large bathroom and shower. The WiFi was great, highly recommend the Tiki and this condo. Mario and I have been married for 53 years. We were both born and raised in South Texas. We have two wonderful children and six very special grandchildren. In 1972 we moved away from South Texas for 25 years. Those years took us to Houston, Austin, Waco, Guadalajara and Aguascientes. Now we are finally back home to stay! We currently live in Harlingen. We love our home and our neighbors, but we also wanted to spend more time at our South Padre Island paradise. A condo was the perfect solution.

Why they chose this property

Because we love the beach, we decided to purchase a condo at The Tiki. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The condos are well kept and the complex is beautifully landscaped and includes two gorgeous, heated pools. Our condo is located steps away from the pool but also its location lends itself to all the privacy you could want. The patio is gated for your pet. We welcome the opportunity to share our 'home away from home' with you!

What makes this property unique

Our condo has been recently renovated. It has a gorgeous modern kitchen with white quartz countertops and comes fully equipped. The living room has a 42” TV . The bedroom has a king size bed, headboard and mattress and the furnishings are modern and well kept. The linens and bedspreads are updated frequently. The room is ample and comfortable. The bathroom is also renovated and the shower is equipped with handrails.
