Minutes’ walk from the beach, pub, OTZ gourmet Deli and the fabulous Beach Shack Restaurant, our home away from home in Four Mile Port Douglas takes you right into the local’s hot spot.

You will experience fully airconditioned comfort in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home making it the ideal holiday location for families or friends travelling together to relax and soak up the chilled Port Douglas Vibe. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed (which can be split into two Singles) and large ensuite which includes an indulgent double shower and bath. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and bedroom 3 is the ultimate kids hideaway with a single over double bunk bed, single bed – can you say sleepover!
The living room sports a large flat screen TV offering both direct TV and Netflix and there is FREE unlimited WIFI throughout the house.

The recently renovated open kitchen and living space lead out to a spacious outdoor living area with a beautiful swimming pool. Fancy yourself the next BBQ master? You can show off your skills on the BBQ located on the poolside alfresco dining area. There is also a grass area for the kids to burn some energy, complete with a cubby house.

If flying and flopping is not your thing, there is a local bus service that will take you on the 7 minute journey into the main street of Port Douglas where you can enjoy an abundance of decadent dining options and shopping. And of course, Port Douglas is home to both the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest so there is plenty to see and explore!

Fabulous location, beautiful house.

The house is right across the road from 4 Mile Beach on a quiet, friendly street. There's a great cafe a few doors down and Port Douglas itself is only a few minutes drive away. We had everything we needed, and the pool was fantastic. We enjoyed our week here and will go back!

The property was very well maintained and clean. Plenty of space for our group of 4. The hosts were kind enough to provide some snacks as well. Location was great to either drive yourself, use the shuttle, or walk along the beach.

Great location

The place is set in a quiet area, very close to the beach and a great restaurant nearby, just a couple of doors down. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, great times in the pool too.

Family friendly beach rental!

We had a great time here. The unit is really well set up for families and we loved all the "extras". The kids loved the pool, and the proximity to the beach and park. We felt very comfortable in our stay here and would highly recommend!

Sandy Feet has all the comforts of home and it’s location is perfect. A quick walk to 4 Mile beach and a good Italian restaurant and Barrier Tavern just a two minute walk.

Close enough to the beach and restaurants, but far enough from the madding crowd. A short 5 min walk to the beach were you could have your dog off the leash.

Really well arranged property, amazing double ensuite shower and bath. Kids rooms on other side of lounge, which was ideal for us! All arranged on one floor so very convenient and the kids absolutely loved the pool. The outdoor dining area was way nicer than the pictures and particularly enjoyed the Weber BBQ, we're now concerts to gas and going to buy one as soon as we get home! Great stay. Only one detail that is maybe worth knowing: the area of the section of beach that is suitable for swimming is a bike ride or drive away, the beach itself is close but not the bit with lifeguard. The local restaurant has very generous portions!

Amazing place, amazing hosts

Our stay was lovely, made extra special but the care and effort the hosts clearly put it, very informative and helpful. Beds were super comfy and the place was spotless. Only this that I could fault, would be that the couch is very uncomfortable and the only table is outside where there is not much light - for if your playing a game or something. Otherwise perfect! Would definitely book again!

Relaxing return visit

We were lucky enough to make a return visit to stay in this great rental! We knew what to expect this time … a perfect home-away-from-home to relax and hang out as a family, including our dog! A short walk to the beach and a short drive into town! We spent our time relaxing, going for walks, swimming in the pool, popping out for delicious meals, watching movies and unwinding - a perfect way to start 2024!! Thanks to our hosts for being flexible when we had to change our dates because of cyclone Jasper, for great communication throughout the experience and for providing such a lovely place to stay!

Beautiful Home Great Location

We had the pleasure of staying in this home, where everything was thought of. Kids absolutely loved the pool and toys here to play with. House was very clean and great location. Kristie was very responsive and prompt with all messages. It was great to have such understanding and flexible owners to deal with, no matter what we needed and when. My husband and myself traveled with 4 young kids 8 and under and my mum who has a disability and required a walker/wheelchair at all times and this property was nothing short of amazing and suited our large family and very well equipped with all the essentials. We look forward to coming back very soon. 😊

A few things to note

Easy communication with the owners and great check in process. Felt a bit uncomfortable with two small children given that its a shared driveway with the joining house and they parked there car so close to ours that everytime you needed to go anywhere or walk you needed to be mindful of their car. The pool would of been great however was freezing cold so we couldn't enjoy it liked we had hoped, the sandpit in the cubby house also needs re doing as its not sand anymore! The lounge inside also is due to be upgraded in my opinion. As its very uncomfortable and cushions kept falling off the whole time. Other than a few issues the house was okay.

Thank you for your feedback. We have just gone through the biggest wet season in history, the sandpit is hard as it has not stopped raining. The pool is also cold for the same reason. The couch is designed so every time we host many children we can change the covers. My neighbor unfortunately constantly gets parked in by guests, so she try’s to make sure that no one is blocking her. This is out of my control completely. There did seem to be more people in our property than 2 adults, 2 children, and nearly all of the pantry staples were empty. I have never responded to an un reasonable review before, but I believe this is a bit out of sorts. Thank you for you feedback

Nice but tired & furnishings need updating

Spacious 3 bedroom unit with a private pool. Very clean. We had some issues with basic equipment not working when we first arrived but they were dealt with swiftly by the owners. The cushions in the lounge room and also the outdoor dining table are extremely thin & uncomfortable making it difficult to relax for any length of time. The glass stacker doors are impossible to open and require greasing - we only tried them once! The drawers in the kitchen and bathroom uses a push open/soft close system which has become temperamental so became a pain to use. Situated on a busy road so there is a constant noise of traffic
