Plenty of opportunities for hiking, snowshoeing, bouldering, rock climbing. Access to swimming holes and fly fishing across the street. Close to lovers leap, horsetail falls and Sierra at Tahoe. On your way out turn off all light except the laundry light. Lock the door and unplug the light string if used. Make sure the grill cover is on.

Great cabin to make memories in, with great location, walking distance to a really fun creek, and really good driving distance to surrounding lakes. While there we visited Jenkinson lake, and wrights lake.

Great cabin! We enjoyed the with access to Pony Express trail, climbing at Sugar Loaf, and river fun just a few minutes away. The cabin is simple, spacious, and comfortable.

We had a great time staying in Kyburz! The host was helpful and easy to get in touch with when needed. The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect private & cozy wintery escape we were looking for!

Why they chose this property

The best part is you can walk right from the cabin into the woods. As far as you want to go. Literally, the Desolation Wilderness is your back yard. If your a climber or into bouldering your in heaven. You'll see the big rocks with chalk on them and hike from the house to the base of Sugarloaf.
