Just 3 miles from historic Spearfish, in the foothills of the beautiful Black Hills, our 80-acre homestead with endless views is peaceful and quiet. We offer a private, family-friendly, 2-bedroom guest suite with its own keypad entrance. Inside, guests find a queen bed and a full bed, perfect for a restful night for up to 4 guests. Climate control keeps the space comfortable with both heating and air conditioning. A patio, fire pit, and a stocked 3-acre lake complete the experience. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or planning your day, this private suite offers an excellent base for your stay. Enjoy this country setting with the convenience of owners on-site to answer your questions and take care of your needs!

For those guests traveling with horses, we have 2 stalls and pasture. Adjoining tack room and water pump right outside. $35/horse.

We are recent empty nesters. We raised our 3 boys on this farm just north of Spearfish. We love living in the country, raising animals and gardening. We have grape vines, apple and pear trees. Currently, we have chickens, 1 dog, 2 alpacas and some cows, and will be getting more animals for our farm soon. We enjoy meeting new people and welcoming them to our small slice of heaven here in the Black Hills!

Why they chose this property

We've had this property since 2011 and still marvel everyday at the beauty of it. The Black Hills, the incredible sunrises and sunsets, the sunshine sparkling off the lake water, and the views all around. Everyday we watch birds, deer, grouse, and 1 pheasant (named Ralph). Best part is we are only minutes from town and 15 minutes from Spearfish Canyon.

What makes this property unique

The fact that we are in the country but only minutes from town makes our property unique as well as peaceful and quiet. We are also .5 mile for the Barn at Aspen Acres resort and wedding venue for those traveling for a wedding.
