Why they chose this property
My favorite part of this property is the river flowing right through the backyard. It sets the tone for everything: slow mornings with coffee, afternoons spent fishing, evenings grilling out, and nights gathered around the fire listening to the water drift by. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, unplug, and truly enjoy the mountains.
What makes this property unique
Our home has a story of resilience and heart. It was completely destroyed during Hurricane Helene last year, and what stands today is a thoughtfully rebuilt home away from home that we’re proud to share with our guests. The only original piece that survived is our patio table, hand-made by my dad and recovered from beneath the debris, a meaningful reminder of family, strength, and new beginnings.
