The booking process was easy and the host responded promptly to my inquiry. Throughout our stay the host was responsive and made recommendations for us. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the back garden is so pleasant. There are many spots to sit and relax including a tea house. We spent a lot of time at the house because it was so inviting. The home was clean and beds had ample pillows and linens. The host supplied a lovely welcome basket of snacks, maps for trails and the city of Boulder as well as informative magazines, and, a helpful guide to the house.
We so enjoyed our visit to Boulder and staying at Zen Garden was a dream. Our hosts, Marc and Neva, warmly welcomed us upon arrival to show us all the fun amenities. The kitchen is well stocked with quality dish ware, utensils, appliances and an array of cook ware.We took advantage of all four bedrooms, a queen in each.Evenings spent on the back deck, looking out at the pond were exquisite. As the sun set, we would move further back to the expansive lawn and watch the sky from a circle of chez lounges. The television was easy to figure out and includes all the apps, like Netflix, Hulu, Apple, etc. We even did Zoom yoga classes, taking advantage of the yoga mats on hand. The location is great for accessing both the downtown, UCB campus and the many trails leading up to the Flatirons. We had friends over in the evenings for dinner and everyone exclaimed what a perfect VRBO Zen Garden is. We will aim to stay there every time we visit Boulder.
