The Beach Apartment 11 is located in the heart of the village Cala D'Or, on the raised ground floor of an apartment complex. The accommodation has a light-flooded living room, a functionally-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both en-suite) as well as a half-bath and can therefore accommodate 4 people. It also has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a smart TV, a cot and a high chair. A private, furnished terrace and a garden with a shared pool, equipped with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, provide for refreshment on hot days. The absolute highlight of the accommodation is the direct access from the garden to Cala Gran, a wonderful bay with turquoise water and a white sandy beach. Here holiday dreams come true and everyday stress is quickly forgotten! The centre of Cala D'Or with shops, restaurants and bars can be reached on foot in 3 minutes.



It is possible to arrange a 5th bed for a child as well as a travel cot in the apartment.

Steps away from paradise

The location of this property is great it is just steps from the beach, close to restaurants and and shops. The property manager was very helpful. Everything was in great condition.

The property and facilities on the whole were good - the online description was however not accurate in the fact it said 2 en suite bathrooms including a shower and toilet in each (one reason we booked) but in fact there was only one separate toilet off the kitchen and none in the en suites .. also lack of mirrors

Blissful location but improvements could be made

Pros: We had a wonderful time at this apartment, but I am finding it a bit difficult to rate. First, the positives. The location is absolutely incredible. It cannot be faulted. You are directly next to Cala Gran Beach, you can hear the sound of the waves from the apartment, and you have a gate at the bottom of the garden with direct access to the beach. It’s blissful. There is also a fantastic swimming pool on the grounds which, when we were there in April, we had 100% to ourselves. Again, blissful! The apartment itself is good. It was clean and spacious and had the very basics of what you need. I was very grateful that the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and the air-conditioner was also a heater because it was still quite cold in April. Cons: If it was my apartment, there are some changes that I would make to make things more comfortable for guests. For example, There was absolutely no shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel provided. Also, the guest information states that you should not drink the tapwater despite they’re being a lot of information on the internet about tapwater being safe to drink in Mallorca. We arrived very late at night after a time when shops were still open. There was no bottled water in the apartment, so the only option we had until the morning was to drink the tapwater. Fortunately, it did not make us sick and I have a feeling it’s probably fine to drink the tapwater. I did ask the management company why we shouldn’t drink it, but they didn’t give me any substantive reason.
