Absolutely beautiful place with a stunning view! We had breakfast and coffee every morning on the patio while enjoying the sunrise and a hot tub evening while watching the sunset!
Coming back here at the end of a busy day at Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP was my favorite part of the stay. The patio and view is amazing! Our whole family agreed this place was our favorite place to stay, out of many family vacations. The house is spacious and clean…and that patio and views again were the best!!
The home was very comfortable and very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils so we were able to cook and grill. We enjoyed the outside deck every morning and evening. The only downfall was the distance to travel to the National Parks, which we read in advance.
A very nice, spacious home with a beautiful view and great close proximity to the Grant Grove entrance of Kings Canyon. We enjoyed dinner on the back patio every night as well as a soak in the hot tub. We could not control the thermostat, but that was quickly remedied by a message to the owner who adjusted it. Hopefully, by next stay, the ceiling fans in the back bedrooms will be fixed as having them working would have been ideal.
Pros:This property has beautiful views all around. It is a large comfortable home with comfortable furniture. Lawrence provides good directions for getting in and out of the property, and so that process was easy. He was quick to respond to text messages. Cons: The hot tub was enjoyed at the end of the day. However, there are some broken plastic pieces by some jets, which have sharp edges, so beware before moving back to relax. The master bed has two big sags, but these are evident in the photos, so it really can't count against the property. We didn't use the fireplace, but when we stayed, there were only two pieces of wood provided. Overall- This is a nice home in a quite and private surrounding. Lawrence will work to make your stay enjoyable.
We absolutely loved the views at this place! The pictures do not do them justice!! Close enough to Kings Canyon and Sequioa National Parks. The hot tub and jetted bath tub were perfect for after a day of hiking! Our family loved staying here, we have kids ages 11, 12 and 13 so only having one tv in the whole house was the only inconvenience. We will definitely be going back as I can imagine how beautiful it is in the winter. We truly felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves.
What a wonderful property!! This was a perfect home for our group. Loved the hot tub and the views are out of this world -- made for some awesome sunsets!! Thank you so much - we hope to be back with more of our family!
