Nice apartment located in a very quiet spot just a few minutes walk from Friedrichstraße Station. All the basics were covered, and there is room enough for two adults and a child. The apartment is sunny and well laid out. Do bear in mind that it is four and a half flights of stairs up, and you will also be walking a fair amount to access public transportation. There are several good restaurants with a few minute walk.

Perfect accommodation for my Berlin trip

Ten days in Berlin

We were in Berlin to learn about the City and its history. Ina’s apartment was an excellent starting point every morning, whether we walked or made the very short walk to pick up the SBahn or the M tram lines. Facing an internal courtyard it was also super quiet. We Would stay here again.

An awesome apartment in the heart of Berlin

We had a wonderful time at Ina’s apartment. The location is absolutely perfect....only minutes to cafe’s, the canals, parks, and the rail station. The apartment was a perfect size for the two of us, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the courtyard. It was clean, and the bed was very large and comfortable. We’ve stayed in VRBOs throughout Europe and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this one. Thanks again Ina!

So happy with our choice

We were doors away from a theater where we could went for a festival and across the park from the Boros foundation where we went twice. We walk a lot and also used the metro which was a 10 minute walk. A grocery nearby and some convient cafes offered many options.

Excellent apartment in the middle of Berlin

Had a wonderful few months staying in this apartment. The property is centrally located and very comfortable. The streets nearby are safe and quiet, with many restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies nearby. The apartment is also within walking distance from major tourist attractions, like the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate, and major public transport hubs like the Hauptbahnhof and Friedrichstraße station. The hosts are also promot to respond and helpful: they always got back to us very quickly whenever we had any questions or requests. Overall, I had an excellent stay, and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place in Berlin!

Quiet Apartment in a Central Location

This apartment was an excellent place to stay for an extended period of time (for me, 1 month). It is in a very quiet neighborhood, only a short walk from the Friedrichstr. train station which is well connected to the rest of the city. It is well equipped for longer stays with a full kitchen (while it is not in the pictures, there is also a combination mirowave/baking oven). There were lots of kitchen staples like rice, pasta, spices, etc. already in the cabinet. I would very much recommend it for anyone who is coming to Berlin for several weeks.

Ideal location for exploring Berlin

This quiet, centrally located apartment had everything we needed to enjoy Berlin for a week. We would have stayed a month if our visas allowed! Our hosts went out of their way to insure an excellent stay. I neglected to note that there was no elevator and they even helped carry our luggage (way beyond the job of hosts!). There is an excellent cafe steps away. Plus plenty of other restaurants are close. A short walk to the River Spree and Brandenburg Gate. And it is a 10 minutes walk to two metro stations. A comfy bed with a lovely deck. And a washing machine. For full-time travelers, that is a plus.

Nice 1-bedroom in a good location

The apartment is in a central part of Berlin, but in a quiet area, in a section in a back of the building so it’s really quiet. The beds (including the sofa bed) are comfortable. The owner replies promptly to any messages. She was very apologetic about a broken shower handle and had it fixed as soon as she could. There is a bus stop nearby and the metro and light rail are nearby within walking distance. There is a grocery store Lidl very close. The restaurant downstairs is nice too. There are many other restaurants and cafes in the area. What other guests noted - there’s no elevator and it’s the third floor so if you have a lot of heavy suitcases that might be hard. Note to Americans - there are no window screens, which is typical for Europe so if you keep your windows open you will get mosquitoes and flies inside.

Great Location, comfortable & Quiet

We stayed here for the first 10 nights of our 40th wedding anniversary European tour! We loved it! We arrived in Berlin at sunrise and took the TXL bus whose route goes near the apartment. We were met at the building entry by Ina’s assistant, Karen, who got us settled into our apartment. The well furnished 3rd floor studio apartment has plenty of light and a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard. There is a bakery, grocery store and pharmacy near by where we were able to get everything we needed. We were most surprised by how quiet the apartment is no matter the time of day. Getting to the major tourist sites is easy as the TXL bus continues to Unter Den Linden and terminates past Museum Island at Alexanderplatz. However the best discovery for us was visiting the nearby Prenslauer neighborhood with its diverse eateries, shops including vintage clothing and resale shops (where we bought some used winter coats and a small back pack for picnicking!) just take the 147 bus to Berlin Hauptbahnhof and switch to eastbound M10 street tram. The only reason we didn’t give our stay 5 stars is because internet connectivity could be frustrating. It seems to be with service provider who is using phone lines. We brought our Apple TV device so that we could listen to music at night but it worked only a couple of evenings. The internet worked fine for emails and there is good cell phone reception for texting. Ina’s Office is on ground floor and her and her staff respond quickly and are very helpful. Smuk og centralt beliggende lejlighed

Et meget fint sted, helt centralt beliggende i byen. Spree, Tiergarten, og alle andre mindesmærker er i gåafstand fra lejligheden. udlejeren er høflig og gæstfri. Der var lidt støv under sofaen, og min familie som alle lider af allergier: støv og parfume, var generede af dels støvet under sofaen, dels den heftige brug af fx stærkt parfumeret skyllemiddel. Men ellers er det skønt, skønt sted med en altan, hvor man kan sidde, når vejret er godt, og det var det, mens vi var der! Man kan simpelthen ikke høre trafikken inde i gården. Den trafik, som der i forvejen ikke er meget af i Schumannstrasse. Et alt i alt fantastisk sted, minus støv og skyllemiddel!

Tolle Lage - die Wohnung ist eine Oase

Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt und hatten eine wundervolle Woche. Die Wohnung ist wie eine kleine Oase: total ruhig gelegen und trotzdem quasi MITTEn drin - egal ob Bahnen und Bus, Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, alles ist sehr schnell erreichbar.

Eine schöne, super gelegene Wohnung

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung kurzfristig gebucht, es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Die Wohnung war für mich und meine Tochter perfekt. Ausreichend Platz, bequeme Betten, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer, ein sauberes Bad mit Wanne, eine gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile und Frau Thimm hat uns sogar eine Flasche Wasser und einen alkoholfreien Sekt in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral, ein paar Laufminuten vom Hauptbahnhof. Im Haus gibt es eine Trattoria, gleich um die Ecke ein großes Bäckercafé, Pizzeria, Lidl, dm usw. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr angenehm, wir bekamen auch ein paar gute Tipps für Unternehmungen. Alles in allem ein paar wundervolle Tage in Berlin, vielen Dank Frau Thimm, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Appartment, sehr zentral gelegen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser hübschen und bequemen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Wirklich schöne, große und geräumige Unterkunft, extrem ruhig gelegen mit nettem Balkon und ausreichend Stauraum. Das Bett ist angenehm fest und bequem. Die Küche ist sinnvoll ausgestattet, ein Schneidbrett wäre wohl noch eine gute Ergänzung. Das Bad ist schön groß, Wasserdruck und Temperaturregulation sind ausgezeichnet. Sehr nette Vermieterin!

Perfektes Appartement!

Die Lage des Appt ist perfekt, alles sehr gut zu Fuss oder den ÖV erreichbar, sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nãhe. Trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig, alles Notwendige vorhanden. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich, zuvorkommend und entschieden besser erreichbar, als zu erwarten wãre. Vielen herzlichen Dank!!!! Ich empfehle es weiter und hoffe, dass es wieder frei ist, wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Berlin komme.
