About the host
Hosted by Eric
We’re Midwest folk who love the outdoors and mountain life so we naturally found our way to Colorado. We hosted a similar guest space in our previous home not far from this space and really enjoyed the process and experience, but this location is the one we’re genuinely excited to share. With more privacy, better views, and trail access that’s hard to beat!
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it feels like you’re tucked into nature while still being close to everything. The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac at the end of a dead end street which rests high up on a bluff in Ute Valley Park providing fantastic views. The area is extremely quiet, the scrub oak and boulders give it that true Colorado mountain vibe, and you can be on the trails with a very short walk from your space. We also love how easy it is to bounce between outdoor time and the best local spots in town, like Downtown, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. We're always happy to recommend our favorite local spots, just ask!
What makes this property unique
The combination of immediate access to some of Colorado Springs most popular trails, peaceful foothills setting with natural boulders and old growth trees, regular wildlife sightings and a comfortable guesthouse that has been thoughtfully designed for relaxing after big days outside is what makes this vacation rental stand out among the rest!
You get the “Colorado escape” feeling with privacy, views, and quiet nature, while still staying just minutes from the area’s top attractions and everyday amenities.
