"Classic Tahoe" Cabin with modern amenities, magical and romantic getaway for 2.

Discover the beauty of the famous Speedboat Beach Neighborhood. 1930's Original Classic Tahoe Cabin. Cozy Cabin with deck, gas fire pit, hot tub (shared), kitchenette and fully equipped despite it's compact design, laundry. Living area has a big glass french door for an open feeling, and a romantic gas fireplace (also forced air heating but guests prefer the fireplace for it's ambiance), pass through bathroom to a cozy bedroom. Peaceful retreat, at the end of a forested cul-de-sac , where guests can unwind and recharge. The original "tiny home". 350 sq feet.

Turn BOTH thermostats to 59 and no lower!
To lock the door, pull up on the lever door handle to engage the pins and turn deadbolt with key. PUT KEY BACK IN LOCK BOX

I am from both the Foothills and Lake Tahoe. I first and foremost enjoy witnessing my children's lives, seeing them: thrive, being happy and pursuing their passions. And they too have watched me enjoying my time here on earth, pursuing and experiencing: my friendships, making art, being deliberate about community connections, collaboration, being outdoors and moving my body.

Why they chose this property

This glorious beach and neighborhood - vacation spot for the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Ted Kennedy, Bob Hope - has somehow magically withstood the test of time, with it's classic style Tahoe homes, and not succumb to the norm that was occurring around the basin. It could of happened, but there is a dedication, intention, and beauty that even some of these Fifth Generation home owners have stayed true to, and it makes everything in the area that more gorgeous and magical.

What makes this property unique

I am a welder and woodworker, thanks to a collaboration with my friend and business partner. We design and build spaces that are intentional. The Little Dipper was already off to a great start with it's 1930's functional and aesthetic foundation. We took a few things and modernized them by putting in a new deck, gas fire pit, and modern essentials: Roku, fur blankets, full kitchen essentials, beautiful linens, mini frig, art.
