Nestled in the desirable Tahoe Donner community, this charming 3BR/2BA home is an ideal retreat for ski excursions and beach vacations.



Two stories of modern living space promise true relaxation, and an open-concept loft provides additional sleeping space. Snuggle by the fireplace or bask in the California sunshine on the large backyard deck.



Unrivaled amenities include access to miles of hiking trails, golf courses, and the equestrian center. After outdoor adventures, you can unwind or play at the nearby Trout Creek Recreation Center.



LIVING AREAS



Vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace with stone-surround bring the inviting warmth of an upscale lodge to the Great Room. Play favorite songs on the Bose speaker system and kick back on plush seating.



A sofa, armchair, and loveseat offer ample comfy seating around the 50in TV in the loft (which includes a twin bed).



KITCHEN & DINING



Find everything you need to create favorite mountain meals in the well-appointed kitchen. While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar for four and watch favorite shows on the flat-screen TV.



When it's time to eat, gather around the table for six in the dining area.



BED & BATH



The primary suite is appointed with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. (This bathroom is also accessible via the loft.)



The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, and the third bedroom holds two twin beds. The guest bathroom features a tub/shower combination.



OUTDOOR AREA



Escape to the spacious back deck to barbecue burgers on the gas grill.



EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS



Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for three cars (one in the garage and two in the driveway).



Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. Additionally, this home does not have air-conditioning.



All leases require a minimum 31-day term.



Seven maximum number of occupants (excluding children under 13 years of age) permitted.

Well maintained, clean property. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Enjoyed the open space behind the house. Well stocked kitchen, although new non-stick cookware is needed. Also ran out of TP. Didn’t use the TV/living space upstairs much, but nice to have additional area separate from the downstairs living space. Overall a very nice property and would stay again.

It was a nice stay the furniture was a bit outdated and the major thing was that the WiFi went down constantly and I worked on my laptop one day there and I had to hotspot my cellular data.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This incredibly clean and well stocked house was comfortable and enjoyable for our family of four. The kitchen even has an abundant supply of spices, olive oil and pots and pans. We cooked three wonderful dinners and packed lunches for a boat ride on Lake Donner and hikes to Shirley Lake. The backyard has a Weber Genesis gas grill and a hammock. The most remarkable thing about this house is that it is spotless and tastefully decorated. The house is managed by Turnkey, so the shampoo and conditioners are small. I asked for a late check out and was originally told that it was possible, but that I needed to check back 24 hours in advance. When I did that, I was then told that "this house never accepts late check outs." Just something to think about.

All great except hot water not working

The house is great in general, expect one key disadvantage, and that's why I can't give it full star. There are many things nice about the house. Check in process is easy and smooth. The house has nice decoration and feels like a home with family photos hanging around. I like the ample supply of kitchen dinnerware and utensils to prepare dinner. And the fireplace area is comfy to sit around to enjoy family time together. However the hot water supply is not working properly. Think about at the end of a ski day, the hot water run out just after a few minutes of shower, and you have to take cold water shower, otherwise have to wait another hour to have hot water reproduced. That's really bad experience! I would give credit to the support team who did response quickly at night, but still not resolve the hot water supply issue. Same problem happened again on the second night. Service team responded that water heater is working but having the hard time keeping up with the demand. I tried to be reasonable, run out of hot water after the tub bath might be understandable, but in our case, run out hot water for a few minutes of shower can't be claimed working properly. It is not acceptable to have such kind issue for the price I paid. I would not use it for a ski trip, unless this hot water supply issue is confirmed fixed.

This house will be your home away from home. It is fully stocked with all the comforts you need. We bring food to cook so it was nice to have an outdoor grill and a well stocked kitchen. The house is nestled in the beautiful woods and is very lovely. We would stay here again.

Great backyard for kids!

We picked this house primarily for the backyard, it backed up to open space full of beautiful pine trees. A perfect spot for our kids to play in the snow. Didn't need to leave the house, great winter wonderland in the backyard! The house was very clean upon arrival. I would give 5 stars, but the master bed needs an upgrade. I'm thinking King size, and memory foam! The bed was very uncomfortable for us, and we are an average size couple. We loved watching movies in the cozy upstairs den, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking or baking. BTW, I may receive a gift card for this review.

The house was very nice and clean, and had everything we needed. The best part was the flat driveway, garage access and efficient snow removal. The only feedback I have is that we would have liked more towels or at least one towel per guest, as we had to share.
