The perfect house to stay in for a visit to Flagstaff. The location is perfect and the house had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was quick and effective with the host. Will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Flagstaff.
Great place to stay - close to everything, and centrally located. Space is roomy, clean, and well set up. Fireplace is super cozy. Would definitely stay again!!
I don’t even know where to begin, this by far the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. It was perfect for 2 couples. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was convenient for walking to downtown and to campus. If you are parents visiting your student, I would recommend staying here. The kitchen is amazing ! The decorations were perfect and so charming. Sydney and Stacey were awesome to work with and were so helpful with directions and restaurants. We will recommend this to anyone visiting Flagstaff.
This was the perfect choice for a long weekend getaway to Flagstaff. This cute house is in a good location to get around in the historic area. We were able to walk to restaurants, breweries, and historic sights. It's also very close to the NAU campus if you're participating in any campus events. The house has clearly been renovated and the owners did a great job combining rustic touches with modern updates. There are several amenities that were included: washer, dryer, extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea, spices for cooking, etc. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for making meals. Check in was easy and there were 2 parking spots in front.
We had a fantastic experience staying at the O’Leary House! This historic home has been meticulously remodeled ….the chef’s kitchen is to die for! Photos exactly portray the home….both bedrooms are on bottom floor. Thoughtful details throughout. The Laundry room is a great place to store luggage plus it leads out to a private deck complete with table and chairs. Impeccably clean, super quiet, comfortable, well-maintained and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was super convenient and made it easy to explore the downtown Flagstaff. Great home for NAU families visiting!Shelby and Stacey our hosts were exceptional: friendly, responsive and attentive to every detail. Communication was clear from original booking through checkout…Shelby made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay!We gladly give this home and hosts a 5 star rating and plan to always stay here when we come to Flagstaff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to those looking for a lovely and hassle-free vacation rental. Thank you Shelby and Stacey for your incredible hospitality and hosts! See you soon!
The updates in this VRBO are beautiful. Very nicely arranged and staged. Kitchen was very well stocked with supplies and amenities. Washer and dryer allowed us to catch up on laundry. Host was very responsive when we weren't able to get in through the lock, and got it resolved within 30 seconds of texting her. A few things to note, the location is next to a very busy road. While trains are a norm in Flagstaff and you can barely hear the soft rumble, the road noise was loud throughout the day and night. The floors, while absolutely gorgeous, left us with splinters and my daughter with a chunk of skin out of her foot due to the nails that weren't completed sunk into the floor.
I have mixed feelings about this stay. The house was beautiful and well done, but there were just so many practical issues. The bedrooms have a Jack-and-Jill bathroom which is already a little awkward, but the doors to the bathroom are barn doors, so you can peak through them and smell any scents that may be coming from the bathroom... The living room is really cute but also not very practical--only four seats and they're not very comfortable. The upstairs just doesn't have very usable space either. I think this stay has a lot of potential with some fixes, and it would work just fine for one couple to stay there, but for two couples it probably only works if you're really close and aren't actually spending much time at the house.
