Great place as advertised. It’s the back portion of the historic home, but is very roomy and historically accurate and is walkable to everything in Wicasasset
A beautiful place to stay! We really enjoyed the tour of the museum and learning the history of the town and the families that occupied the house and the area through the years. Wiscasset is (and the surrounding area) is the perfect place to spend a vacation - surrounded by natural beauty, abundant history, and friendly people.
Beautiful old houses and fun to stay in the back apartment of the museum. Sad we missed the tour opportunity (ended three days before we checked in).
We would stay there again.

Wonderful Weekend
Great location. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and good eating/living spaces. It was fun having breakfast and coffee outside in the garden, but the place could use a little more outdoor furniture.

Amazing House with Great History
My husband, myself, and our one year old son were able to stay here for a weekend getaway. It was absolutely perfect, beautiful rooms, historical. It was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. I LOVE that the funds from renting out this space goes toward the preservation of the overall house. A great idea! We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely unique historic home with lots of charm!
I loved the uneven floors and antiques! The shades were nice as they kept out the morning sun perfectly. Taking the tour of the house was informative and you got to see what is on the "other side" of the door!
The house was nice and in a great location. A little loud in the AM since it is on the main road. Housekeeping and property management were on top of things. Just like the add said.
Enjoyed our stay and especially the private tour by Tori. She was super knowledgeable about the house and families that lived in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour through the museum part of the house.
One negative on the house- the 3rd bedroom is attached to 2nd bedroom and the bathroom and there is no fan in the bathroom - an exhaust fan would improve this greatly.
