Had an excellent time at an excellent property. Caught the mackerel right off the dock! ( Bring mackerel jig). Although we had plans to visit local attractions, we mostly chilled out at the property in the huge back lawn, the dock and kayaking around the islands. Thanks Brian!

We fell in love with this waterfront gem and cannot recommend it highly enough.From the moment we arrived, we settled into the perfect mid-coast Maine escape. Brian is an exceptional host who communicated so thoughtfully and quickly; he genuinely wants every guest to experience its beauty and peace.Our family of five and two dogs had everything we needed for a true vacation. We arrived with a full itinerary to explore the area but ended up doing far less than planned; the house and its private, setting gave us everything we wanted and more. The expansive park-like backyard gently slopes to the water, featuring a full dock with seating, a kayak, and paddleboard. From the deck, tree swing, hammock, Adirondack chairs, you’re treated to stunning views of the cove with its shimmering water and seabirds.Inside, the house is clean, spacious, and comfortably homey with every amenity you could want. The living and dining areas are bright and inviting with water views, and the three bedrooms are well-appointed; we all slept very well. We loved the eclectic artwork, books, and personal touches throughout.Nearby highlights: Pemaquid Lighthouse, LaVerna Preserve, and fresh lobster dinner at the co-op, Island Grocery was perfect for breakfast sandwiches, specialty beverages, and treats. We enjoyed charming Damariscotta. Camden and Boothbay Harbor are easy drives.This place truly feels like home. Our four days went by way too fast; we’re already counting down to our next visit.

We were treated as honored guests in Brian's family home. He treated us like this from the first inquiry. First the location is awesome. Looking out over the large backyard with an incredible waterfront location in the picturesque cove of South Bristol. The house is new but built in the classic Maine colonial style. Every room has a view of the water. The library/office that leads to the downstairs master bedroom was very nice with a large desk with views of the water. With a family of 6 and everyone working remotely we appreciated the fast wifi and different places to spread out and work on our laptops. Working on the back deck facing the water was the best! Thanks again Brian for sharing your family home with us!
