About the host

Hosted by Jenny & Jerry

Host profile image
Hi! We’re Jerry & Jenny, longtime San Diego locals who love sharing everything that makes this area special. We’re a family of four who enjoy beach days, boating, trying new local restaurants, concerts, and spending time outdoors.

We created our home to feel like a relaxing, comfortable getaway where guests can make great memories together. As hosts, we care about the little details — from cozy spaces and thoughtful amenities to sharing local recommendations to help you experience San Diego like a local.

Whether you’re visiting for the beaches, local attractions, family vacations, military graduations, golf trips, or just a relaxing escape, we hope our home helps you feel welcomed and at home during your stay!

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Tucked into a quiet canyon setting, it feels peaceful and private while still being centrally located to some of San Diego’s best attractions.

One of our favorite things is how easy it is to enjoy everything San Diego has to offer — from beaches, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego, and great local restaurants to family activities and entertainment — all within a short drive. We’re also conveniently located near Snapdragon Stadium, home to concerts, San Diego Wave FC soccer matches, and San Diego FC soccer games, which makes the area especially fun and exciting for visitors.

We also love the laid-back Southern California vibe here. Mornings are quiet and relaxing, evenings are perfect for enjoying the backyard, and the location makes it easy for guests to explore the city while still having a comfortable place to unwind at the end of the day.

What makes this property unique

What makes our home unique is the combination of resort-style outdoor living, thoughtful design, and a central San Diego location that makes it easy to enjoy everything the city has to offer.

The backyard was designed to feel like a private retreat with a pool, spa, fire pit, BBQ area, and putting green — perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, sightseeing, concerts, or sporting events. Inside, the home blends comfort and style with a chef’s kitchen, cozy gathering spaces, and plenty of room for families and groups to spend time together.

We’ve tried to create a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and memorable — whether guests are visiting for a family vacation, military graduation, golf trip, beach getaway, or a fun weekend exploring San Diego.
