Notes
- Check-in and Check-out times can be adjusted. Let us know what will work best for you and we will be happy to see if we can accommodate your wishes. Standard check-out time is 11:00 am and check-in time is 3:00 pm unless other arrangements have been made. We have a home nearby so if there is anything more you need - just let us know! We will respect your privacy and yet will try to do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable. Sorry, this listing is not suitable for young children, due to the spiral staircase. Our neighborhood consists of a few homes and barns, dotted here and there, along our lazy, country road. Since it is not a through street, and we are at the very end of the road, we get very little traffic! A nice walk really should be on your list of things to do and if you are bringing bicycles you will enjoy that too. The setting is picturesque and peaceful, so remember to bring your camera. Early risers see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoon, and lots of birds.

Ask a questionAbout Mike O'Connell, Sr.
We enjoy family gatherings at home, fishing, camping, oil painting, gardening, working in our little fruit tree orchard, and planning great family get-togethers. Our motto is: Cream Always Rises to the Top; and The More the Merrier! We love to barbecue and entertain friends and family. We are fortunate to be able to offer our little log cabin on VRBO.

Why Mike O'Connell, Sr. chose Eugene
Enjoy use of our Kayaks while you are here! See pictures of pond and wildlife areas. Fire pit outside cabin door is available for evening enjoyment. Just ask and we'll supply wood for your campfire. We are situated in the beautiful Willamette Valley, right in the heart of great wine tasting country! 5 wineries are within 15-20 minutes of our property and Eugene is only a 15 minute drive away. For Duck football fans, this is a great place to stay. It's only 20 minutes to Autzen Stadium! The beautiful Oregon coast is just 1 hour away. The Portland Airport, Cascade Mountains, Mt. Bachelor, The Three Sisters mountain range, and the little Western town of Sisters are about 2-3 hours away. Major airlines service the Eugene airport 20 minutes away from us. We enjoy living in the Willamette Valley and continue to discover new places to visit. We love going to the Hult Center for the Performing Arts (on the Broadway Circuit!) as well as the Very Little Theater, a venue for local performing artists. We are fond of the Oregon Electric Station for dinner as well as King Estates Winery for exquisite dining - both only 20 minutes away. And we always suggest the 5th Street Public Market for an exceptional down town experience: local brew pubs, wine tasting, jazz, ...Eugene has it all. This is what we like about living here! :)
What makes this Cabin unique
We have enjoyed landscaping our property over the years. We have a garden and a small orchard that keep us in canned goods the year round. You are welcome to use the Kayaks and life jackets while you are here. We live on the property in a separate log home across the way.
