Comfortable studio in nice location!

Convenient location and friendly interaction

Needed something close and convenient to MCRD Parris Island for graduation. This place checked all of the boxes! Quiet, clean and super cute. Met the owner, Steve, who was just a joy to talk to about everything from traveling, the neighborhood and plants!

Lovely Stay

We were so impressed by the hosts! Fresh flowers in the room and we were met upon arrival and received great advice about local seafood restaurants. The best part was that I made a mistake with my reservation dates and realized this the night before. I quickly made a call to the host and he immrfiately fixed everything. Our mini-vacation was saved!

First Beaufort Trip

Getaway to Beaufort

My wife and I made a quick trip to visit the historical town of Beaufort. The check in process was quick and simple. The hosts were extremely friendly. The unit was conveniently located close to town. Parking was good. Wifi was strong. The unit was immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave. The stairs going up to the unit have a strong handrail, but are rather steep. My wife and I were in the unit during the night of Hurricane Helene. We feel like the unit is very well built and strong. We would highly recommend this VRBO to people looking to stay in beautiful Beaufort, SC.

Wonderful stay!

Loved the room, perfect for what we needed during a weekend stay in Beaufort. Prime location for accessing downtown and other nearby destinations. Host was very hospitable and attentive. Would highly recommend.

A peaceful and relaxing stay

Warm and inviting accommodations. We loved the room, the garden and the host. We felt welcome right from the start! The property is located ideally from the waterfront, restaurants and retail stores. It is within proximity of downtown Beaufort. We have made many trips to Beaufort and would definitely stay here again. Kudos to Steve and Patricia for providing the perfect place to getaway!

Absolutely fantastic!!

This stay was very very nice! My wife and I stayed and the place was great, it was a bit bigger than we thought from the pictures as well. The kitchenette was fully stocked with plates, utensils and all that which was handy for takeout. The owners are incredibly kind and personable, they helped me with a small issue I had with my car and ended up having a great conversation with them. They have a little notebook where it seems like all their guests have been so impressed that they leave very kind notes. We would definitely stay there again!

The Perfect Spot

Pat and Steve have a beautiful private apartment above their garage with beautiful gardens. It's perfect for a couples get away and located close to the riverfront in Beaufort! Would absolutely stay there again and will in the near future!

Beautiful, quiet getaway!

Steve and Patricia were very nice and hospitable. The gardens on the property are beautiful and well maintained! Our room was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. Beaufort is a quaint little town. We enjoyed walking by the water, into town, kayaking on the river and great local foods!

Charming Jewel

Steve's and Patricia's adorable garage apartment was a convenient and comfortable oasis surrounded by their charming garden. The communication at check-in and throughout the stay was exceptional. The place itself was perfect for our weekend getaway. Spotless, tasteful and well appointed with a comfortable bed and kitchenette with everything we needed. Their beautiful patio was perfect for lunch outside and their home was biking distance to everything we wanted to do in Beaufort including the Spanish Moss Trail. They made their garage available for bike storage and had many helpful suggestions...we truly enjoyed our conversations with them. We will definitely be back to enjoy this Southern gem and amazing hosts.

My FROG!

I had a delightful stay in this perfectly laid out FROG (Furnished Room over Garage). It had everything I needed plus Steve and Patricia are the most delightful and helpful owners ever. I felt safe and so comfortable with them immediately. Their cottage gardens with beautiful flowers made the stay very special. Butterfly’s galore. Hummingbirds and a plethora of birds including a Painted Bunting. I brought my tiny $20 egg steamer and made my usual healthy breakfast each morning. The bed is very comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom/tub/shower worked great and it was easy to stay organized in. There are two outlets for hair tools, etc. The closet even had a full length mirror which was a great bonus and so helpful. There was a suitcase valet. loved the large comfortable leather chair. There were outlets nearby for my electronics.The apt. size fridge worked perfectly. One trip to the grocery lasted me for my 10 day stay. The location was perfect for me. I did not have a car and I was able to walk downtown and back each day easily. I routinely walk at least 3 miles a day so this was ideal to get my exercise in while walking to an historic downtown with a beautiful waterfront, shops, and restaurants. I brought my bike. I biked to the Spanish Moss Trail which is a ten mile bike path along lovely marshes and expanses of water. The historic district especially the Old Point area is not to be missed. The location was ideal for me. I hope to visit again next year.

We are Patricia and Steve ,we found this dream location and built our retirement home in June of 2014. It includes a studio apartment over our garage to share with family and friends. Most of our years were spent in snowy, cold Ohio where we worked and raised our children. We are thrilled to be living in this beautiful, friendly town. Patricia retired after 30 years as a nurse practitioner. Steve is a retired engineer. We have created our own piece of paradise and would enjoy sharing it with you.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a place close to the water with the smell of fresh salt air. This picturesque, historic town is filled with friendly, positive people. The fresh seafood and local produce is an added bonus. We both love to cook! The live oaks draped in Spanish moss are a constant pleasure and something always seems to be in bloom.

What makes this property unique

We love this location because of the sunsets and dolphin watching within 3 blocks of our home. Historic Downtown Beaufort is only a short 1 mile away. It has a lovely marina waterfront with restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
