Dear Guests,
Romantic historical house situated in the most beloved area of Central Haarlem. Three Beautiful romantic sleeping rooms with two private bathrooms and sleeping place for 4 persons. The house has a large patio/terrace. A kitchen, a dinning area, a sitting room with TV. All is there to enjoy your holiday.
My lovely house is also situated central for visiting Amsterdam (20 min.), the beach (20 min.), or all other interesting places in the Netherlands. Public transport, the supermarket, shops, restaurants, cafes, theatre, film, museums, rent a bike, is all on walking distance.

A typical Haarlem city House of 1920, with maintainance of original details. Like stained glass windows, panel doors. Decorated with original art works, flowers, candles, antique. So a lovely and well maintained House to be!

Beautiful house in Haarlem!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house! The location was nice and quiet and the transportation into Amsterdam was easily accessible. The house was comfortable and we all slept very well. Haarlem is a charming city itself and we were so happy to stay there.

Wir waren 5 Personen für 8 Tage in Haarlem in dieser außergewöhnlichen Unterkunft. In der ganzen Wohnung waren Bilder, alles liebevoll dekoriert. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar und wenn man keine Koffer dabei hat sind es nur 3 Kilometer bis zum Bahnhof. dort fährt alle 10 Minuten eine Bahn nach Amsterdam, oder alle 30 Minuten eine Bahn ans Meer. Mit unserer Vermieterin konnten wir jederzeit Kontakt aufnehmen und sie war sehr flexibel, da wir keine optimalen Ankunfts-/bzw. Abfahrtszeiten hatten. Unser Übergabegespräch war ausführlich und sie bot an, dass wir sie gerne anrufen könnten, wenn es Fragen gäbe, sie war überhaupt unglaublich nett. Vielen Dank an Setine, die uns großes Vertrauen schenkte uns in ihrer Wohnung wohnen zu lassen.

Kurzurlaub mit Freunden

Wir haben ein paar schöne Tage in der schönen kleinen Stadt Haarlem gehabt.Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Lage👍Leider gibt es keine kostenlose Parkplätze in der Nähe des Hauses.Das Haus wird leider auch als Künstler Atelier genutzt.Es hängen und stehen ganz viele schöne Bilder rum.Wir fühlten uns dadurch in dem Haus eingeschränkt da man immer Angst hatte ein Bild umzuwerfen oder mal daran hängen zu bleiben.Das Haus war typisch holländisch eingerichtet das fanden wir sehr schön.In der Küche war alles was man brauchte vorhanden LEIDER!!funktionierte der HERD nicht.Dafür gab es eine Mircowelle die eine Grillfunktion hatte aber sie ersetzte leider nicht den Herd.Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles ausführlich erklärt. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein schöner ereignisreicher Urlaub.

Great for 2 couples or family

Loved the convenience of an entire home and its location. Enjoyed exploring Haarlem and Amsterdam for a week & had a comfortable stay. Only issue is if you are traveling with 3 couples, 1 couple loses privacy (1 open, pass-thru bedroom w/double bed). Also was a bit cluttered with so many paintings around the apartment, but was not really a problem. Overall, we are grateful for a wonderful stay!

Charming Artist Home with Center Courtyard and Terrific Location!

My family of 5 adults stayed at Ms. Van de Noordaa for 4 nights. The house is very charming, funky and full of her art. It added a lot to our experience. She greeted us with housing instructions and Haarlem information. The house is very quiet but also super close to great restaurants, pubs, shopping, grocery store, canal, bus stop and a playground park. It is a 12 minute walk to the train station to Amsterdam. And a 45 minute bus ride to Haarlem centrum from the airport and an 10 minute walk to the house. Ms. Noordaa is very helpful with transportation advice. The house was built around the 1930's and is full of tile work and architecture features. Which reminds you that you are in another country! It has two private bedrooms with another bedroom as a walk through but very usable. There is a full bath for these first floor bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom has very steep stairs, not much space for luggage but has a new full bath and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen has all you need except the oven does not work but there is a convection/microwave unit that works quite well. A wonderful dining room with seating for 8 and a front living room with tv and seating for 4. The house was so inviting that we ended up cooking in one night and it felt very homey. There is a house cat named Ruby that was very friendly and a welcomed addition. If you want a modern minimalist space to hang out in Harlem this may not be your first choice. The location and old world funky charm made it a great choice for our family. S. Noordaa is a lovely host!
