Lovely short stay in an historic place

A very special place. Well furnished with all we required for a pleasant stay. A very beautiful terrace overlooking the valley was a highlight—we enjoyed the sunsets. Only downside was it was a short walk to parking. I would recommend keeping luggage manageable.

A lovely and classic French cottage and I highly recommend it

This is a lovely and classic French cottage and I highly recommend it. Plenty of room on three levels and a great small terrace (1st floor) looking out over beautiful Ardeche countryside. The cottage is down a narrow, medieval feeling lane and you wouldn't guess how close it is to the center of the town - really convenient. As English visitors, this was our first cottage rental in France and the rental contract (including taking out house/contents insurance) was initially a bit of a surprise but it was all fine and actually quite usual in France. The insurance was very easy to arrange (we took out a package for our whole holiday from Aviva for around ÂŁ40). Parking is a little challenging and the spot used by the cottage cannot be reached if you have a largish car (my A5 was too long to negotiate the tight alley). Stairs in the cottage would be a bit steep for young children so better with friends or older children. A long drive from Calais so be sure to leave enough time to travel and check-in. Overall a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it if you want to stay in Vallon (which is also lovely) which is a good hub for the Ardeche.

Kleinod im wunderschönen Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

Ein charmantes Haus mit alter Bausubstanz in direkter NĂ€he zu vielen Restaurants, kleinen netten LĂ€den, BĂ€ckereien ... Von der Terrasse hat man eine fantastische Sicht ĂŒber einen Teil des Ortes und auf die Berge. FĂŒr AusflĂŒge z.B. zur Pont-d'Arc ist der kostenfreie Shuttle des Ortes super zu nutzen.Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war total unkompliziert, charmant und entgegenkommend :)Als Mieter sollte man mobil sein, weil das Auto nur ein StĂŒckchen weg geparkt werden kann und das Haus selbst einige Treppen und Stufen hat.

La maison est située dans une petite ruelle de Vallon pont d'arc, à 20 mÚtres du vieux centre. L'emplacement est vraiment exceptionnelle !!! Nous avons aimé l'espace, la jolie terrasse pour prendre nos apéros en famille. On s'y sent bien dans cette maison, triste de partir !!!

3 jours, 3 générations réunies en famille

Ancienne demeure agréable et bien équipée à quelques minutes à pieds des commerces et restaurants. Nous avons trÚs apprécié l'espace, le calme (hors saison) et le logement. Seul point de vigilance peu précisé dans l'annonce, l'accessibilité : les ruelles de la calade sont trÚs (trop) étroites, l'accÚs n'est possible qu'avec une petite voiture ; les places de parking sont limitées ; quel que soit le lieu de parking l'accÚs final se fait à pied dans une ruelle pavée pentue et quelques escaliers à l'entrée du logement (accÚs avec un fauteuil roulant me semble impossible). Frédérique est trÚs accueillante et compréhensive (notre sms n'était pas passé pour la prévenir de notre retard sur l'heure d'arrivée).

Un magnifique week end en ArdĂšche !

2 jours passés dans cette maison en plein de centre de Vallon Pont d'Arc. Idéalement située, si l'on ne craint pas quelques marches, cette maison est trÚs agréable, authentique et bien décorée. Sa terrasse avec une vue magnifique permet notamment de prendre des repas dehors dans d'excellentes conditions. Nous y avons passé un excellent week end !

Wonderful house in central Vallon-Pont-Dar’c

A wonderful house just a few meters from all restaurants and shops in Vallon . Perfect situated in a alley. You live in the centre but with privacy. Lovely house with everything you need for a vacation. Lovely view from the balcony and perfect little porch in front of the house to have morning coffee on. Three minutes to the bakery. Easy to get in touch with the hostess/owner of the house that shared some valuable information about the surroundings and what to see around Vallon. The weather was hot but thanks to the thick walls Of the house and that we keep it shout through the days the house was cool. I can warmly recommend this house for a stay I Vallon-Pont-Darc.

Tolles Haus mitten in der Altstadt

Die "Calades" (StrĂ€ĂŸchen) sind eine kleine Attraktion in Vallon. Das Haus liegt in den Calades, die unmittelbar an die FußgĂ€ngerzone der Altstadt anschließen. So ist man abends in zwei Minuten mitten im Zentrum bei den Eisdielen und Restaurants. Dennoch ist das Haus sehr ruhig. Sobald man die Calades betritt, ist der LĂ€rm der FußgĂ€ngerzone nicht mehr zu hören. Das Haus ist ĂŒber viele Jahre sehr liebevoll saniert worden und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Die Badezimmer sind modern. Auf der Terasse kann man wunderbar frĂŒhstĂŒcken, mit Blick ĂŒber alte HĂ€user und in die Natur um Vallon. Die WohnrĂ€ume sind ĂŒber drei Stockwerke verteilt. Mit der Treppe muss man etwas vorsichtig sein und bei heißem Wetter kann es oben sehr warm sein. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hatte einige gute Ideen fĂŒr AktivitĂ€ten.

maison trÚs agréable et atypique. Attention aux escaliers qui ne conviennent pas à des personnes ayant des difficultés de marches (personnes ùgées, enfants en bas ùge). La maison est en centre ville ce qui est trÚs appréciable, par contre pas de possibilité de se garer devant la maison. La maison est bien équipée. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Une bonne adresse

Une maison originale dans un charme ancien, bien entretenue. Une literie de qualité propre et de qualité. Deux salles d'eau spacieuses et fonctionnelles. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse ouverte avec vue par dessus les toits pour les repas du soir autour de la table en Teck. Nous y avons passé 2 jours agréables et espérons y retourner une prochaine fois.

Beau séjour dans une charmante maison de village

TrĂšs beau sĂ©jour chez Frederique Ă  Vallon Pont d’Arc ! La maison est trĂšs belle et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Il faut juste savoir qu’il n’y a pas de portes aux chambres mais des rideaux ! IdĂ©alement situĂ©e au cƓur du village qui est un bon point de dĂ©part pour visiter l’ArdĂšche ! En prime, la maison est assez fraĂźche l’étĂ© ! Frederique et son mari sont charmants et rĂ©actifs en cas de besoin. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans cette maison pour finir de dĂ©couvrir la rĂ©gion :)

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© la maison de FrĂ©dĂ©rique , dĂ©corĂ©e et amĂ©nagĂ©e avec goĂ»t. Sa situation permet d'ĂȘtre en quelques minutes au cƓur de la ville et des commoditĂ©s sans avoir Ă  prendre la voiture. La vue depuis la terrasse est apaisante. On aurait aimĂ© discuter davantage avec FrĂ©dĂ©rique qui nous met facilement Ă  l' aise et nous conseille sur les sites Ă  visiter.
