The first thing that meets your eye when you open the door of this beautiful home, is the stunning hard wood flooring in a tastefully decorated open living space that boasts a 60 inch flat screen TV with game console and wifi. The lovely furnishings throughout the home give a sense of relaxation the moment you enters, and the boat dock accessible dining/ sitting area on the patio expands the feel of relaxation at the sea.
At night you'll be able to settle down in the master bedroom sleeping 2 people on its comfortable queen bed and enjoy a movie on the 50 inch flat screen TV, or settle down in the second bedroom boasting a queen set of its own and a 30 inch flat screen TV.
Settle down by the sea and relax by yourself or with friends at this slice of paradise nautical get away.

Labor Day weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time at this rental property. It’s in a great location for walking or biking to the harbor and the farmers market. The amenities are fabulous! Having the beach chairs, beach umbrellas , and beach bikes was a huge plus👍🏼👍🏼 It was a very hot weekend for Oxnard so thank goodness the owner left fans! We are all our meals out on the beautiful deck and enjoyed watching the boats go by. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family :)

Summer on Gateshead Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really enjoyed the location of this house and access to the Duffy boat. The houses amenities were acceptable-plenty of linens but skimpy cooking utensils. Bathrooms were redone & nice but kitchen was very tired. Worse thing was the sliding doors were corroded & could barely be opened. Also lack of screens allowed insects & a hermit crab to find there way in. Overall, house was above average.

Reviewer Comments: We were a little skeptical about renting a house during this Covid 19 era, but when my friend who also stayed there previously assured me about cleaness and neatness about the house we were convinced. It's a well maintained and tastefully decorated house which sits right on the channel. We enjoyed the balcony, the duffy and the quietness of the area a lot. There's a garage but no direct access from the house but the house is on a cul de sac type of street so there wasn't much traffic. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.

we loved our week here! The house was set up and stocked perfectly with everything you might need, the beds were super comfortable and the deck was cool and relaxing. The highlight for us was having the boat- we loved cruising around the marina. Would highly recommend this house and will come back!
