Welcome to your next sunny escape — a private villa with two secluded courtyards, a private pool, and a BBQ area made for long, relaxed evenings or for watching the stars with a glass of wine.

Located next to Nuevo Portil Golf Course (which boasts gorgeous views and a peaceful backdrop), the villa is just a 10 minute walk away from wide, sandy beaches, with scenic boardwalk and the spit — ideal for morning walks, sunsets, and easy beach days.

Inside, you’ll have Wi-Fi and a comfortable, well-cared-for space. We put a lot of attention into the details so you can properly switch off and enjoy your holiday.

Ground Floor
There are three bedrooms on the ground floor; one bedroom with twin beds and the front bedroom with three single beds and the Guest Wing with a Queen bed, a single bed and an ensuite bathroom. New shower units and cubicles have just been added (June 2021) to the bathrooms on the ground floor. All bedrooms have air-con, fans, a storage heater for the winter, wardrobes (hangers) etc. Towels are provided for the bathrooms. A portable cot can be provided for infants - please let us know if this is required to thank you.

The ground floor also consists of a modern kitchen, open plan dining/living room and separate WC with access from the kitchen to the garden at the back and lavadora (an area to hang clothes).

First Floor
The luxury master bedroom is located on the first floor with an ensuite marble bathroom ( bath and shower) and a very large terrace with spectacular (private) views over the golf course. This is a great place for breakfast as the sun rises over the golf course. There is a table here that seats six and two sun loungers/ deckchairs.

Gardens and Courtyards
You could spend your vacation simply relaxing by the private pool with its own shower and BBQ or dining in the private courtyard. There is a mosaic table by the BBQ which seats four, deckchairs and sun loungers and a table in the courtyard which seats a minimum of eight and is covered with a parasol. Next to the BBQ are herbs and two lemon trees and you are welcome to help yourself to these for your cooking.

The Pool
The pool is maintained regularly to a very high standard and cleaned before your visit. In order for you to enjoy your holiday uninterrupted, we generally do not ask our maintenance team to visit during your stay if it is for less than seven days. There are sprinklers in the garden which operate at night ( a few guests have been caught out :)).


Some of the local highlights

• The local Beach (Nuevo Portil): ~10 minute walk to wide, sandy beaches via the boardwalk and the spit

• El Portil (El Portil village): around 15 minutes on foot for cafés, ice cream, and an easy local stroll

• El Rompido (Harbour & Old Village): a short trip away for a postcard-pretty marina, restaurants, and bars. Tapas in the main square by the church starts around 8 pm — we recommend **Doña Gamba** for a brilliant meal.

• Huelva (City day out): ~23 minute drive for shopping, cafés, and sights like **Casa Colón**, **Muelle de las Carabelas** (replicas of Columbus’s ships), and the lively food market at **Mercado del Carmen**.

• Laguna de El Portil (Nature reserve): just 7 minutes by car or a ~30 minute walk — a peaceful, scenic loop that’s perfect at golden hour.

• Marismas del Odiel (Biosphere Reserve): a beautiful, longer nature walk for big skies, marshland views, and birdwatching.

• Local Food Shops (Supermarkets):

- Mercadona (Punta Umbría): ~15 minute drive

- El Jamón (El Rompido) for essentials

- Carrefour (Cartaya)** (a large hypermarket) ~17 minute drive.
