Great to hear you enjoyed our Creek House for your friends weekend getaway. This cabin makes for a cozy stay with the ones you love--but, so close to things to do in the area! Yes, the in floor heat is a nice touch and popular winter amenity! Great to hear you enjoyed it!

We would like to make it known there are no sewage or snake issues at the property. This guest is referencing a septic system issue that occurred a year ago, which has since been repaired. During this stay, a few ring snakes (pencil sized, harmless) did enter cabin. Once the guest reported this, they were immediately provided another property to relocate to. The wildlife team came to the cabin the following day to take care of the snakes, and the property was ready by the afternoon. The issue we had with this guest was that she was occupying two of our cabins at once. She did not entirely vacate the first cabin after reporting snakes, and partially moved to the other cabin that was offered. When we kindly asked her to choose just one of the properties to spend her final evening, she did not communicate with us until later in the evening on her decision. Even though this guest was never left without a place to stay and a refund was not warranted, the owner offered a refund for the inconvenience the situation caused. After the guest’s departure, there was visible damage to the sofa (we keep before/after photos for our records and for this very reason). When charged the fee for repairs, this guest was rude and threatening. We do not recommend this guest to other hosts. For future guests, it is common to see all kinds of wildlife in and around the cabin. While treatments are ongoing, it is possible they can make their way into the cabin. If this occurs, we are quick to assist!
